The present disclosure relates to a circuit breaker opening/closing assistance apparatus for correcting a thermal image of a circuit breaker on the basis of a visible image of the circuit breaker, and assisting an opening/closing operation of the relevant circuit breaker on the basis of a temperature identified through the corrected thermal image. Further, the present disclosure relates to a circuit breaker opening/closing assistance apparatus for identifying a temperature of a circuit breaker in which a failure has occurred, on the basis of a thermal image of the circuit breaker, and assisting an opening/closing operation of the relevant circuit breaker on the basis of the identified temperature.

A power contactor and a method for producing a housing body for a power contactor are disclosed. In an embodiment a power contactor includes a first electrical contact, a second electrical contact, a switch element configured to provide an opened position and a closed position, wherein the switch element, in the closed position, contacts the first electrical contact and the second electrical contact with one another, and wherein the first electrical contact and the second electric contact are insulated from one another when the switch element is in the opened position and at least one temperature sensor integrated into the power contactor, wherein the sensor is configured to detect a temperature of the power contactor in a pre-defined distance from the first electrical contact and/or the second electrical contact.
SWITCHING SYSTEM TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT
A switching system contains a switch for medium voltages and/or high voltages, wherein the switch has a first electrical connection on a first side of the switch, and a second electrical connection on a second side of the switch. A medium voltage or high voltage is supplied to the switch via the first electrical connection, and a medium voltage or high voltage is conducted away from the switch via the second electrical connection, or vice versa. A temperature measuring unit is provided. The temperature measuring unit has a temperature measuring head, a temperature transmission element, a temperature transmission medium, a temperature conversion element, and a temperature signaling device.

A monitoring and load controlling system for a switchboard, according to one embodiment of the present specification, comprises: a gateway which acquires respective temperature information of circuit breakers included in a switchboard, and respective current amount information of lines corresponding to the circuit breakers, acquires respective capacity information of the circuit breakers on the basis of the acquired temperature information, and, on the basis of the acquired capacity information and current amount information, detects a circuit breaker corresponding to a line in need of load regulation; and a load controlling device which regulates the load of said line by stopping the operation of at least one device among devices connected to the detected circuit breaker.
Circuit interrupter and method of determining contact wear based upon temperature
A circuit interrupter includes a temperature detection system that is configured to detect a measured temperature of at least one of a line conductor, a load conductor, a movable contact, and a stationary contact during operation of the circuit interrupter. The measured temperature is representative of an extent of wear of the set of separable contacts. In one embodiment the temperature detection system includes a temperature sensor that is an infrared sensor. In another embodiment, the temperature detection system includes a temperature sensor that is in physical contact with an electrically conductive structure within the circuit interrupter and therefore additionally employs a voltage filter that filters a line voltage from the signal from the temperature sensor. In another embodiment, the temperature detection system employs a temperature sensor that is in physical contact with an electrically conductive structure, but a wireless transceiver is used to wirelessly communicate the measured temperature.
Fault monitoring systems and methods for detecting connectivity faults
A fault monitoring system detects connectivity faults in a device control centre. The fault monitoring system includes, for the or each control section, at least a first pair of temperature sensors adapted to detect the temperature of a first pair of terminals (T.sub.L1-IN), (T.sub.L1-OUT). The system includes a processor configured to receive the detected temperatures, calculate an IN-OUT difference, the IN-OUT difference being a difference between the temperatures of the first pair of terminals (T.sub.L1), compare the calculated IN-OUT difference with a predetermined threshold value (T*.sub.L1), whereby a calculated difference IN-OUT (T.sub.L1), greater than the predetermined threshold value (T*.sub.L1), is indicative of a connectivity fault at one of the first pair of terminals, and to generate at least one output signal based on the results of the comparison.

A sensing device for a high voltage disconnecting switch comprises a light emitting element, which is configured to align its temperature with a temperature of the high voltage disconnecting switch, and an optical fiber, which is configured to receive a light emission from the light emitting element and configured to guide the light emission. Further, a deriving unit is configured to receive the light emission from the optical fiber and derive information about the temperature of the high voltage disconnecting switch based on a duration of the received light emission.

A miniature circuit breaker, a control method thereof, and a control system thereof, where the miniature circuit breaker includes a circuit breaker body and a current detection unit. The circuit breaker body and the current detection unit are located in respectively independent cavities in the circuit breaker and are electrically coupled to each other. After a current that flows from one end of the circuit breaker body flows through the current detection unit, the current flows into another end of the circuit breaker body. The current detection unit includes a voltage drop detection assembly and a signal output terminal. The voltage drop detection assembly includes a first voltage sampling point and a second voltage sampling point, where the first voltage sampling point and the second voltage sampling point are coupled to the signal output terminal.
