An ON switching position (311) is between a falling start position (323) of the minor peak (341) and the second position (302). A maximum load during the minor peak (341) is greater than or equal to the load in the ON switching position (311) and less than or equal to the load in an OFF switching position (312).

According to the present invention there is provided a button assembly, comprising, a platform having at least two electrodes; a dome member which comprises electrically conductive material, wherein the dome member is electrically connected to at least one of said at least two electrodes, and the dome is arranged so that at least a portion of the dome member overlays at least one other of the at least two electrodes, so that when the dome member is selectively collapsed inwardly by the application of force, the dome member will electrically contact said at least one other of the at least two electrodes, so that in its collapse state the dome member electrically connects the at least one of said at least two electrodes with the at least one other of the at least two electrodes; an interface member which comprises, (a) a compression member which is attached to the dome member at a position which overlays said at least one other of the at least two electrodes; (b) a restrictor member which is configured such that it projects towards the platform and the distance between the platform and the restrictor member is less than the distance between said at least one other of the at least two electrodes and portion of the dome which overlays at least one other of the at least two electrodes, and (c) at least one elastic member which connects the restrictor member and the compression member.

In an example implementation, a tactile switch comprises a housing, a button interposer, a dome switch, and an adjustment mechanism. A user or other entity may press the button interposer. The dome switch is contained in the housing, and is actuated by the button interposer being pressed. The adjustment mechanism is contained at least partially in the housing, and is configured to enable an amount of force used to press the button interposer to actuate the dome switch to be adjusted.

The support has such a property that until a travel distance of the pushing element reaches a first threshold, a load applied from the support to the pushing element increases, and when the travel distance of the pushing element reaches the first threshold, the load applied from the support 6 to the pushing element decreases.

Rotary switch structure

A rotary switch structure includes a sleeve, a seat body, an elastic ring, plural push elements and a fixing element. The seat body is accommodated within the sleeve. The elastic ring is disposed on the seat body. The plural push elements are disposed on the elastic ring, and provide a pushing force to the elastic ring. The fixing element is fixed in the sleeve and contacted with the plural push elements. The plural push elements are fixed on the elastic ring by the fixing element. The elastic ring absorbs the pushing force, so that a friction force between the at least one push element and the elastic ring is adjustable. Consequently, the rotating feel of the rotary switch structure is adjustable according to the practical requirements.
