KEYSWITCH
20170365423 · 2017-12-21 ·

A keyswitch includes a board having a first magnetic portion and a pivot portion, a cap, a switch, and a support device including a first support member having first and second bodies connected to each other via an elastic connection arm. The first body has first and second end portions connected to the cap and the pivot portion respectively. The second body has a second magnetic portion and a triggering portion. A U-shaped slot is formed around the triggering portion to make the triggering portion form an elastic cantilever arm extending from the second body. When the cap is pressed to make the second magnetic portion away from the first magnetic portion at a specific distance, the triggering portion triggers the switch. When the cap is released, a magnetic force between the first and second magnetic portions drives the second magnetic portion to approach the first magnetic portion.

A luminous keyswitch includes a keycap having a light-transparent portion, a baseplate, an up-down mechanism with two ends respectively moveably connected to the keycap and the baseplate, a function sheet disposed on or under the baseplate, and a light source disposed on the function sheet within a vertical projection of the keycap and connected by a copper wire to provide a light illuminating the light-transparent portion. The function sheet includes a flexible upper circuit layer having a first contact point, a flexible spacer layer having a hole, and a flexible lower circuit layer having a second copper contact point, a third copper contact point, a first copper wire connected to the second copper contact point, and a second copper wire connected to the third copper contact point. When the keycap is pressed, the first contact point passes through the hole to electrically connect the second and third copper contact points.

METAL DOME SWITCH

A key mechanism is disclosed. The key mechanism comprises a keycap, a dome support structure positioned relative to the keycap and defining an opening, an actuation mechanism coupled to the keycap, and a collapsible dome positioned in the opening of the dome support structure. The actuation mechanism is configured to movably support the keycap relative to the dome support structure. The dome comprises an upstop member configured to limit upward travel of the collapsible dome.

SLIM KEY STRUCTURE

The present application provides a slim key structure, including a flexible carrying sheet body, a key cap, a circuit board, a base plate, and a positioning frame cover. The key cap is superimposed over the flexible carrying sheet body, the circuit board is disposed below the flexible carrying sheet body, and the positioning frame cover and the base plate sandwich the key cap, the flexible carrying sheet body, and the circuit board together from the top and the bottom. The key cap includes at least one first hook that protrudes downward, the base plate includes at least one second hook that protrudes upward, and the at least one second hook penetrates through the circuit board to be engaged with the at least one first hook of the key cap. The key cap is evenly carried on the flexible carrying sheet body, and a phenomenon that the key cap wobbles and is unstable would not occur.

Keyboard hinge mechanism

Embodiments described herein provide a low travel switch mechanism. The low travel switch mechanism may include a substrate, a dome coupled to the substrate, a keycap, and an integrated pivot component disposed between the keycap and the dome. The integrated pivot component may include a hinge assembly coupled to a light guide structure. The hinge assembly may secure to the substrate, via one or more hinge interconnects, joints, or interlock features to form a pivot point. When the keycap receives a keystroke, the integrated pivot component may be operative to pivot about the pivot point and contact the dome to cause a switching event or operation.

Key structure

A key structure is provided, including a housing, a shaft body, a first magnetic component and a second magnetic component. The housing has a bottom portion and a top portion which are opposite to each other, and has a first opening located at the top portion. The shaft body is coupled with the housing by passing through the first opening, and the shaft body is suitable for being pressed to move in a pressing direction from the top portion to the bottom portion. The first magnetic component is arranged on the shaft body. The second magnetic component is arranged on the housing. The first magnetic component and the second magnetic component are separated by the housing.

A key structure includes a pedestal with a sliding groove, an upper cover, a triggering element, and a spring strip. The spring strip is movable within the sliding groove. The triggering element is arranged between the pedestal and the upper cover, and located beside the spring strip. When a keycap of the key structure is depressed, the triggering element is moved relative to the pedestal to push the spring strip. In response to the elasticity of the pushed spring strip, the spring strip is slid within the sliding groove to collide with the upper cover. Consequently, the key structure generates sound surely.

KEYSWITCH STRUCTURE

A keyswitch structure includes a baseplate having a switch opening, a keycap movably disposed above the baseplate, a circuit board disposed on the baseplate, the circuit board having a through hole, and a mechanical switch disposed below the keycap, the mechanical switch extending through the through hole to be partially received in the switch opening and electrically coupled to the circuit board, wherein when the keycap moves toward the baseplate, the keycap triggers the mechanical switch.

A keyswitch includes a board, a cap, and a support device. The board has first and second bending members and a main body extending along X and Y axes perpendicular to each other. An included angle between a first abutting surface of the first bending member and the X-axis and an included angle between a second abutting surface of the second bending member and the X-axis are greater than 0°. The support device includes first and second support members having first and second hook structures respectively. When the cap is pressed, the first and second hook structures slide on the first and second abutting surfaces respectively to deform the first and second hook structures. When the cap is released, the deformed first and second hook structures drive the first and second support members to slide relatively for making the cap return to a non-pressed position.
