DIGITAL SIGNALING DEVICE FOR SIGNALING AN ELECTRICAL SWITCH

A digital signaling device provides visual, audible, and haptic indicators when the digital signaling device changes state. The digital signaling device has a same operational feel and response as a classic electro-mechanical decorator-style light switch, including maintaining switch paddle position, using attractive magnetic latching in combination with a spring contact. The switch paddle can be pressed into one of two positions, each position representing a different state of the digital signaling device. The switch paddle provides a visual indicator of the digital signaling device state in that the switch paddle is maintained in one of the two positions. The attractive magnetic latching provides both an audible and haptic indicator when the magnet pairs are engaged, which corresponds to a change of state of the digital signaling device. The spring contact provides a digital switching mechanism for changing the state of the digital signaling device.

Rocker assembly structure

A rocker assembly structure includes a pedestal having a base portion, and a keycap. A bottom wall of the accommodating groove protrudes upward to form a rod portion. Several portions of a peripheral surface of the rod portion are recessed inward to form a plurality of first guiding grooves. A lower portion of an inner wall of each first guiding groove is recessed inward to form a buckling slot. A front of the peripheral surface of the rod portion is further recessed inward to form a second guiding groove. The keycap covers the rod portion. Several portions of an inner wall of the keycap protrudes inward to form a plurality of buckling blocks. The plurality of the buckling blocks are disposed in the buckling slots of the plurality of the first guiding grooves and the second guiding groove.

Electric switch

The invention relates to an electric switch, in particular a rocker switch, comprising a contact system and comprising a movable actuating element for switching over the contact system between two switch positions, in particular an on position and an off position. The switch has a drivable actuator, which is operatively connected to the actuating element in such a way that the actuating element in at least one of the two switch positions is moved, on driving of the actuator, into the other switch position by the actuator for switching the contact system. In particular, the actuating element is moved by the actuator from the on position to the off position of the contact system.

SWITCH ASSEMBLY

A switch assembly comprises a button, a pivoting element, a first positioning element, and a second positioning element. The button has a first, second, and third states. The pivoting element extends from a height direction of the button, and has first and second contact parts arranged in the height direction. Surfaces of the first and second contact parts have different contours. The first positioning element and the second positioning element respectively correspond to the first contact part and the second contact part, and are movable relative to each other. A function of the first positioning element and a first positioning section of the first contact part is configuring the first state, and functions of the second positioning element and a second positioning section and a third positioning section of the second contact part are respectively configuring the second state and the third state.

Toggle-type switch for portable communications device

A toggle-type switch for a portable communications device includes a circuit board to be positioned within a cavity of a portable communications device. In one instance, the circuit board includes a first flank, a second flank disposed opposite the first flank, and a central rib disposed between the first and the second flanks. The circuit board has a non-planar shape, such that the first flank and the second flank are each offset relative to the central rib. The toggle-type switch includes a first electrical contact element coupled to the first flank, a second electrical contact element coupled to the second flank, and a projecting lever located above the central rib and between the first flank and the second flank. The projecting lever has a first leg to engage the first electrical contact element and a second leg to engage the second electrical contact element.
