UNITIZED THREE PHASE SWITCH WITH A POWER ACTUATED TRANSFORMABLE BASE AND METHOD FOR OPERATION
Switch gear for interconnecting a plurality of power transmission lines including a number of high voltage switches arranged in three phase unitized relationship for routing power. The switches are each pre-mounted on a transverse beam which is operatively attached between two oppositely disposed longitudinal parallel beams forming a unitized switch assembly with a common base structure with a transformable parallelogram outer perimeter which may be attached in the field to a support structure. The outer perimeter of the common base structure of the unitized assembly transformable common base can be transformed with a power actuator from a rectangular configuration to a rhomboid configuration that permits the width of the unitized assembly to be reduced so that the assembly can be transported by truck to an installation site and then the switch assembly may be transformed back to the rectangular configuration with the final width for installation at the site.
HIGH VOLTAGE VERTICAL BREAK DISCONNECT SWITCH WITH PLANETARY GEAR REDUCTION SWITCH DRIVE MECHANISM
A high voltage vertical break disconnect switch with a planetary gear reduction drive assembly including at least one stage operatively attached to a perpendicular rotatable insulator of the high voltage vertical break disconnect switch. The planetary gear reduction drive assembly includes a lower crankshaft part and a cooperating upper crankshaft part. The lower crankshaft part is solidly connected to the perpendicular rotatable insulator. The planetary gear reduction drive assembly includes an output that drives the upper crankshaft part. The upper crankshaft part drives a movable link assembly that causes a switch blade of the vertical break switch to open and close.

The upper crankshaft part drives a movable link assembly that causes a switch blade of the vertical break switch to open and close.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING INDICATION OF A POSITION OF A SWITCH
A switch including a blade, an electrical terminal, and a inclinometer sensor. The blade is pivotable between an open position and a closed position. The electrical terminal is configured to receive the blade when in the closed blade position. The inclinometer sensor is coupled to the blade. The inclinometer sensor is configured to sense a position of the blade and output a signal corresponding to the position.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATING AN ELECTRICAL SWITCH
A switch including a first electrical terminal, the first electrical terminal including a blade pivotable between an open position and a closed position, and a rod extending from the first electrical terminal parallel to the blade. The switch further includes a second electrical terminal configured to receive the blade when in the closed position, the second electrical terminal including a vacuum interrupter, wherein the vacuum interrupter engages the rod when in the closed position. Rotating the first electrical terminal in a first direction causes the blade to disengage from the second electrical terminal at a first point, and further rotating the first electrical terminal in the first direction causes the rod to disengage from the vacuum interrupter at a second point.
Flexible conductor for disconnector and the disconnector thereof
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a flexible conductor for connecting a main blade and a base of a disconnector. The flexible conductor includes a first portion and a second portion, the first portion is fixed to the base and adapted to bend in a first plane in response to a rotation of the main blade about a first axis; and the second portion is connected to the first portion and fixed to the main blade, the second portion adapted to bend in a second plane substantially perpendicular to the first plane in response to twisting of the main blade about a second axis; wherein the flexible conductor is operable to maintain an electrical connection between the main blade and the base when the main blade rotates and twists with respect to the base to open or close the disconnector.
SIDE BREAK AIR SWITCH WITH ANTI-ROLLING BLADE LOCK
An electrical switch including a jaw assembly electrically connected to a first electrical conductor. The electrical switch further including a housing assembly electrically connected to a second electrical conductor. The electrical switch further including a blade assembly including a rocker assembly configured to enable rotation of said blade assembly, said rocker assembly having a first rocker component and second rocker component, wherein said first rocker component includes a first rocker pin, and wherein said second rocker component includes a second rocker pin that depresses when said first rocker pin is depressed. The electrical switch further including a blade catch configured to engage said jaw assembly to maintain said electrical switch in a closed position when said blade assembly is rotated about an axis.
