SF6 FREE GAS INSULATED DISCONNECTOR WITH LIMITED ARCING VOLUME
The invention concerns a disconnector (100) for a GIS comprising: a pair of permanent contacts (24, 41), one (24) fixed and the other one (41) movable along an axis (AA), called the axis of the disconnector; a pair of arcing contacts (22, 42), one (22) fixed and the other one (42) movable; an insulating part (52) located inside said fixed arcing contacts (22, 42), and means (50) for pressing said insulating part against a front surface of the movable arcing contact (42); an insulating ring (56) located at the outlet of the fixed arcing contact (22).
Air circuit breaker
The present invention relates to an air circuit breaker, in which a recess is formed on one side or each of both sides of each contact plate provided in an insulating cage so as to reduce a contact area between a movable contactor and the contact plate when the movable contactor and the contact plate are brought into contact with each other, thereby preventing a contact portion between the movable contactor and the contact plate from being melted due to heat generation.
Switchgear With A Gas-Tight Insulating Space
The present disclosure relates to switchgear. Various embodiments may include medium- or high-voltage switchgear with a gas-tight insulating space. For example, a switchgear may include: a gas-tight insulating space where an insulating gas is kept above atmospheric pressure and two switching contacts in the space. At least one of the contacts may movable with respect to a nozzle. The insulating gas may include a mixture of at least 90% by mass of nitrogen and oxygen or nitrogen and carbon dioxide. The nozzle may include a plastic with at least 65% by mass in total of the elements carbon, nitrogen, and oxygen.
Internal tulip sleeve of the female arcing contact of a high voltage electric circuit breaker
An internal tulip sleeve for the female arcing contact of a high voltage circuit breaker. According to the invention, this sleeve comprises a body of non-magnetic steel or of copper-tungsten alloy, this body comprising an internal face covered with copper.
LINER ARRANGEMENT AND A CIRCUIT BREAKER WITH A LINER ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR PROTECTING AN INSULATOR BODY
It is proposed a liner arrangement for fitting a tubular insulator body in a circuit breaker. The liner arrangement includes a planar, electric-arc resistant and heat resistant liner layer comprising a first edge portion and a second edge portion that is located opposite the first edge portion, wherein the first edge portion has a first contour extending in a direction transversally to a plane defined by the planar liner layer. The second edge portion has a second contour having a geometry that is complementary to the first contour such that the first edge portion can be attached by way of a form fit to the second edge portion once the planar liner layer is bent to a tubular shape. Further, a circuit breaker including a liner arrangement and an insulator is described. A method for protecting an insulator body of a heat chamber insulator for a circuit breaker is also described.
Electrical switching device
An electrical switching device is filled with a dielectric insulating medium comprising an organofluorine compound, in particular a fluoroether, a fluoroarnine, a fluoroketone or a fluoroolefin, and comprises at least an arcing contact arrangement with a first arcing contact and a mating second arcing contact. At least a first intermediate volume is provided downstream from the first arcing contact, and/or at least a second intermediate volume is provided downstream from the second arcing contact. The intermediate volumes are for intermediate pressure enhancement and exhaust gas jet formation for turbulent convective heat transfer to metal walls of the exhaust system. In embodiments, the first and/or second intermediate volume is delimited by at least one moveable wall arranged transversally to the longitudinal axis and shiftable parallel to it by an actuation device.
High-voltage device and method for increasing the dielectric strength in the high-voltage device
A high-voltage device has an encapsulation housing and at least one bushing for at least one conductor, through which a current flows, into the encapsulation housing and/or out of the encapsulation housing. At least one electrode at free potential is surrounded by the bushing. The at least one electrode at free potential increases the dielectric strength in the high-voltage device, especially in the region of the bushing.
