FUSE END CAP HAVING DISPLACEABLE ALIGNMENT PIN
A fuse assembly having a displaceable pin assembly secured within a cap bore of an end cap of the fuse assembly. The displaceable pin assembly can include a plunger that is selectively displaceable along an axis that is non-parallel to a central longitudinal axis of the first end cap. The plunger can be selectively displaceable between an extended position at which at least a first end of the plunger is outwardly positioned away from an outer surface of the first end cap, and a recessed position at which the first end of the plunger is recessed within, or generally aligned with the outer surface of, the first end cap. The displaceable pin assembly can also include a biasing element that can bias the plunger to the extended position, and a support body that can house at least a portion of the plunger and be securely coupled to the cap bore.
TEMPERATURE SENSITIVE PELLET-TYPE THERMAL FUSE
Provided is a temperature-sensitive pellet-type thermal fuse having excellent reliability including an insulation property after having operated. The fuse includes, in a tubular case with high electrical conductivity and high thermal conductivity, at least a temperature-sensitive pellet being capable of melting and softening at a specific temperature, a strong compression spring pressing the temperature-sensitive pellet, an insulating lid body closing an end portion of an opening of the tubular case, a weak compression spring being in contact with the insulating lid body, a first lead having an inner end penetrating the insulating lid body as a stationary contact, and a movable contact electrically connected to the first lead and the tubular case, and further includes a second lead disposed at an end of the tubular case.

Thermal fuse
A thermal fuse may comprise an electrode and a conductor separated by a phase change material. The electrode may be formed from a conductive material that generates hydrogen when exposed to water or hydrogen peroxide. The phase change material may release water or hydrogen peroxide at or above an activation temperature.

Anti-rotational fuse end cap
A fuse assembly having an end cap that includes a recessed retention body. The recessed retention body can include first and second retention walls and an engagement surface. The first and second retention walls can extend at least in a generally outwardly direction from the retention surface to an outer surface of the end cap, and extend between first and second ends of the first end cap in a direction that is generally parallel to a central longitudinal axis of the fuse assembly. The engagement surface can have one or more walls that downwardly and outwardly extend in divergent directions from an apex of the engagement surface and toward a corresponding one of the first or second retention walls. The apex can be positioned at a central location between the first and second retention walls, and extends in a direction that is generally parallel to the central longitudinal axis.
