A circuit breaker having a mechanical switch which is inserted into a main current path and has a fixed contact and a moving contact which is connected to a contact bridge mounted movably thereto. The circuit breaker comprises a drive, which is operatively connected to the contact bridge, and a control unit, via which the drive is energized and which is powered from a control circuit. The drive has a “moving magnet actuator.”Further, a vehicle having the circuit breaker is provided.

CIRCUIT BREAKER

A circuit breaker having a mechanical switch introduced into a main current path, which comprises a fixed contact and a moving contact connected to a movably mounted contact bridge. The circuit breaker comprises a drive, which is in active connection with the contact bridge, and which comprises a first drive unit and a second drive unit. The first drive unit is energized via a control circuit, and the second drive unit is connected in parallel to a resistor element introduced into the main current path. The invention also relates to a motor vehicle.

The load driving device includes: a control unit configured to output a driving signal and a non-driving signal; a first switch unit configured to switch power between a power supply unit and a load to a conductive state and a non-conductive state, and switch the power path to a conductive state when a difference between a potential of the first input line and a potential of a conducting path on the load side is greater than a predetermined value; and a second switch unit configured to connect a power supply to the first input line into a conductive state upon the control unit outputting the driving signal, and to block conduction between the power supply path and the first input line upon the control unit outputting the non-driving signal.

A fault current limiter may include a current limiting leg to transmit a first current and a control leg in parallel with the current limiting leg, the control leg to transmit a second current. The control leg may include a plurality of solid state switches arranged in electrical series with one another; a plurality of current monitors arranged in electrical series with the plurality of solid state switches; and at least one triggering circuit, wherein the plurality of current monitors are electrically coupled to the at least one triggering circuit, and wherein the at least one triggering circuit is optically coupled to the plurality of solid state switches.

Switch-operation-determining device

A switch-operation-determining device provided with a determination circuit for determining whether a switch has been operated, wherein the determination circuit is provided with: a first resistor, a first diode, and a second diode serially connected in the stated order from the power-source side, such that current flows from the power source toward a ground; and a control unit for comparing the anode potential of the first diode and a threshold potential, and determining that the switch has been operated when the anode potential of the first diode is lower. Of the first diode and the second diode, it is the second diode that is connected in parallel with the switch.

Direct-current circuit breaker

A direct-current circuit breaker includes a first main circuit breaker inserted into a first direct-current line, a resonance circuit connected in parallel to the first main circuit breaker, a MOSA connected in parallel to the first main circuit breaker via the resonance circuit, a second main circuit breaker inserted into a second direct-current line, a switch connected in series to the second main circuit breaker, a resonance circuit connected in parallel to the second main circuit breaker, and a MOSA connected in parallel to the second main circuit breaker via the resonance circuit. The second direct-current line is a line that branches off from the first direct-current line and returns to the first direct-current line. The switch is inserted upstream of the second direct-current line.

Mechanical switch dimming and speed regulation control system

A mechanical switch dimming and speed regulation control system includes a double-contact mechanical switch including at least one alternating current live wire input end, and at least one group of normally closed contact and normally open contact mutually short-circuited with each other, a dimming and speed regulation controller including a signal collector and a dimming and speed regulation control circuit, and a controlled device, outputs of the normally closed and open contacts loop-connected with the dimming and speed regulation controller, the dimming and speed regulation controller loop-connected with the controlled device, the signal collector electrically connected with an output loop of the double-contact mechanical switch and the dimming and speed regulation control circuit, respectively; the dimming and speed regulation control circuit loop-connected with the controlled device. The present disclosure implements high-power dimming and speed regulation control of a single live wire by using the double-contact mechanical switch, and overcomes problems of power limitation of a conventional dimming and speed regulation switch and difficulty for an intelligent switch to implement dimming and speed regulation of the single live wire.

A separating device for interrupting a direct current of a current path, in particular for an on-board electrical system of a motor vehicle. The separating device has a hybrid switch with a current-conducting mechanical contact system and a first semiconductor switch connected to the hybrid switch in parallel and having a switchable resistance cascade with at least one ohmic resistor which is connected to the contact system of the hybrid switch in parallel.
