Monopole Antenna Assembly with Directive-Reflective Control

An antenna assembly includes a driven element, a first set of antenna elements disposed a first distance from the driven element such that each element of the first set of antenna elements is equidistant from adjacent elements of the first set of antenna elements, and a second set of antenna elements disposed a second distance from the driven element such that each element of the second set of antenna elements is equidistant from adjacent elements of the second set of antenna elements, the second distance being larger than the first distance. The antenna assembly includes or is operably coupled to a selector module configured to select one element of the first set of antenna elements as a selected director, and select one element of the second set of antenna elements as a selected reflector by effectively shortening a length of the selected director and effectively lengthening the selected reflector.

Various base station cellular enclosures are detailed herein. An airfoil enclosure housing may be present that defines a cavity for housing a base station cellular antenna. The housing may have a leading edge and a vent that permits air from external the airfoil enclosure housing to enter the cavity of the airfoil enclosure housing. The enclosure may further include a rotatable coupling that attaches the airfoil enclosure housing to a support structure. The rotatable coupling can allow the airfoil enclosure housing to rotate based on wind such that the leading edge faces into the wind.

Antenna

An antenna and an antenna array, the antenna including a dielectric resonator fed by a feeder connected to a ground plane, wherein the dielectric resonator is arranged to emit an electromagnetic radiation along a wave propagation axis upon an electric excitation input to the feeder, and wherein the electromagnetic radiation is equivalent to a combination of a plurality of electromagnetic wave components.

ANTENNA DEVICE

An antenna device includes: a rod-shaped conductor disposed perpendicularly to a grounding face part; a plurality of first linear members supporting the rod-shaped conductor by a tension structure; a first bent conductor having a first linear conductor disposed so as to branch from the rod-shaped conductor and disposed so as to be inclined with respect to the grounding face part, and a second linear conductor disposed so as to be continuous with a distal end of the first linear conductor and disposed along a first linear member selected from among the plurality of first linear members; a first selective transmission part disposed at an end of the first linear conductor on the same side as the rod-shaped conductor; and a second selective transmission part disposed in the rod-shaped conductor. The rod-shaped conductor and the first bent conductor constitute a first antenna element part having a first electrical length corresponding to a first operation frequency, and a second antenna element part having a second electrical length corresponding to a second operation frequency.
