Universal Top and Bottom Cable Entry Electrical Receptacle Assembly

The present disclosure discloses an electrical receptacle assembly. The electrical receptacle assembly comprises a housing with a first compartment and a second compartment with at least one third opening for receiving power supply cables. The first compartment has a second opening for receiving a switch knob, defined with central axis. A base of the second compartment fitted with a switch assembly in the housing. The switch assembly defines a spindle which is required to align axially with the central axis of the slot of the switch knob. A first and a second switch assembly mounting locations on the base mounts the switch assembly. The first mounting location is used when the power supply cables are positioned to enter the receptacle from operatively below the receptacle and the second mounting location is used when the power supply cables are positioned to enter the receptacle from operatively above the receptacle.

Multi-position input cord assembly for a power distribution unit

Apparatuses and devices are provided that allow for a power input cord to be placed in two or more different orientations relative to a power distribution unit. A power distribution unit may be provided with one or more input cord assemblies that allow an input cord to be swiveled such that the cord exits an outside plane of the power distribution unit at a different angle. Such an assembly allows a power distribution unit to be placed in an equipment rack and coupled with an input power source in a flexible and convenient manner. Clearances and dimensions of equipment racks may be modified to provide enhanced space usage, efficiency, and/or density in a facility.

The invention relates to a distribution strip for distributing electrical energy for equipment, device and/or server cabinets. The distribution strip has an inner chamber which is defined by an upper, lower, two lateral side faces and two end faces. A feed cable is provided on one of the end faces. An end face forms, with a side face, an inner angle of greater than 105°.

Cable assembly backshell

Provided is a cable assembly backshell capable of three angular configurations: straight, 45°, and 90°. The backshell is designed to rotate at two joints that allow it to assume these three angular configurations. A locking mechanism is associated with the backshell which prevents unintended reconfigurations.

Plug retainer apparatus and related methods

Example retainer apparatus and related methods are disclosed. An example retainer apparatus disclosed herein includes a post having a first end attachable to a wall plate cover opening of an outlet and a second end opposite the first end. The example retainer apparatus also includes a plug retainer to be removably coupled to the post. The plug retainer of the example retainer apparatus is to move relative to the post between the first end of the post and the second end of the post.

Terminal insertion quality monitoring system

A terminal insertion quality monitoring system includes an acceleration sensor disposed on a gripper of a terminal insertion equipment and configured to detect a dynamic acceleration of the gripper while using the gripper to insert a terminal into a housing, a control parameter acquisition device configured to acquire a plurality of control parameters of the terminal insertion equipment while inserting the terminal into the housing, and an artificial intelligence system adapted to classify the detected dynamic acceleration and the acquired control parameters into a plurality of different insertion modes by analyzing and calculating the detected dynamic acceleration and the acquired control parameters. The different insertion modes have a plurality of different grades of terminal insertion quality. The artificial intelligence system is configured to monitor a terminal insertion quality of the terminal according to the insertion mode to which the detected dynamic acceleration and the acquired control parameters correspond.

Rotatable interface assembly for an electrical connector

A rotatable interface assembly for an electrical connector, an electrical connector, a connector system, and a method for coupling the system is presented herein. The rotatable interface assembly includes a connector component, having an electrical contact for electrically connecting electrical elements via a corresponding counter connector. The rotatable interface assembly further includes a base part and a rotatable part. The base part at least partially houses the connector component and has a securing means for being secured to a fixed counterpart. The rotatable part being configured to receive the corresponding counter connector at least partially under a specific angular orientation. The rotatable part is arranged on the base part, so as to be rotatable around a rotational axis relative to the base part. The rotatable part can be rotated around the rotational axis in a desired angular orientation that matches an orientation of a corresponding counter connector, to allow to receive the corresponding counter connector under different angular orientations, relative to the base part.
