CONNECTING MEMBER, LAMP AND CONNECTING MEMBER OF GROUND LAMPS

The present disclosure relates generally to the technical field of lamp fittings, and more particularly to a connecting member, a lamp and an connecting member of ground lamps. The connecting member includes a tube body and a fastening member. The tube body defines an axial hollow tube chamber and a gap communicated with the tube chamber. The fastening member is disposed in the tube chamber and corresponds to the gap. The fastening member comprises a limiting member and a conductive member movably connected to the limiting member. The limiting member is partially exposed from the gap and forms a supporting portion for supporting the power cable. The conductive member includes a pierce structure corresponding to the supporting portion. The connecting member provided by the present disclosure solves the technical problem of complicated wiring of ground lamps.

An assembly for covering at least a portion of a connector portion and at least a portion of a cable includes: a temperature sensitive portion; and a cord portion. The temperature sensitive portion is configured to have a pre-shrink length prior to being heated and a post-shrink length after being heated; wherein the post-shrink length is smaller than the pre-shrink length; the cord portion is configured to have a length after the temperature sensitive portion is heated that is greater than the post-shrink length of the temperature sensitive portion; and a difference between the post-shrink length of the temperature sensitive portion and the length of the cord portion after the heating permits a user to remove the temperature sensitive portion from a connector portion and a cable without using a sharp tool and thereby avoid cutting the connector portion or the cable when removing the temperature sensitive portion.

Annular abutment/alignment guide for cable connectors

A connector comprises an inner conductor, an outer conductor basket and an annular abutment/alignment guide disposed therebetween. The inner conductor socket transmits RF signals from one connector portion to another connector portion across a mating interface. The outer conductor basket comprises a plurality of axially projecting fingers operative to electrically ground the connector. The annular abutment comprises an outwardly facing abutment surface and an alignment guide disposed integrally with the annular abutment. The alignment guide has a flanged end portion projecting: (i) radially outboard from an upper or forward end of the annular abutment and (ii) over the tip ends of each axially projecting basket finger. The annular abutment: (a) inhibits inward radial displacement of the axially projecting fingers, (b) prevents plastic deformation of the basket fingers upon annular abutment of a non-mating connector, and (c) aligns a mating connector so as to prevent damage to the basket fingers upon joining the mating connector.
