WIRE HARNESS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING WIRE HARNESS
A wire harness including: a first wire that is electrically connectable to a first connector installed in a vehicle; a second wire that is electrically connected to the first wire; a third wire that is electrically connected to the first wire; a connection where the first wire, the second wire, and the third wire are electrically connected to each other; a tubular first shield that surrounds an outer periphery of the connection and an outer periphery of the first wire; and a tubular second shield that surrounds an outer periphery of a portion of the first shield and an outer periphery of the second wire, the portion of the first shield surrounding the outer periphery of the connection.
Cover for motor vehicle alternators
The invention relates to a cover for protecting a regulator and a rectifier of a motor vehicle alternator, comprising at least two removable sections that are each compatible with at least two possible configurations for the connector of the regulator, and/or at least two removable sections that are each compatible with at least two possible configurations for the terminal of the rectifier, which cover can be used to protect more than one possible configuration of a motor vehicle alternator and reduces manufacturing time and costs.
Connector assembly with strain relief device in two parts
Connector assembly comprising a housing and a strain-relief device attached to the housing for clamping a cable in a fixed position at the rear opening of the housing. The strain-relief device comprises first and second portions, both made of a single part and being detachable from the housing. The first portion has a first arcuate surface engaging the outer sheath of the cable, and the first portion also comprising first retaining means engaging the housing for retaining the first portion on the housing. The second portion has a second arcuate surface also engaging the outer sheath, and the second portion also comprising second retaining means engaging the housing for retaining the second portion on the housing. Strain-relief device designed to be mounted on a connector. Method for mounting the strain-relief device with a connector assembly.
Security system
The present system generally relates to a tamper resistant cap that prevents unwanted access to a semi-tractor trailer's 7 ways connection. The system includes a controller that can be operated remotely to transmit signals to an actuator within the cap. The actuator operates a lock to secure the cap in the closed position and selectively unlock the lock to allow the cap to be opened.
Header power connector
A header power connector includes a header housing assembly including an inner housing received in a cavity of an outer housing. The inner housing has upper and lower openings open to a terminal cavity configured to receive busbars. The inner housing is movable relative to the outer housing to accommodate misalignment of the busbars in the terminal cavity. A terminal is received in the terminal cavity having a terminal base, an upper mating end and a lower mating end. The upper mating end includes an upper socket flanked by upper spring beams that receives the first busbar and the lower mating end includes a lower socket flanked by lower spring beams that receives the second busbar. The terminal is movable in the terminal cavity to accommodate misalignment of the first busbar and the second busbar in the terminal cavity.
METHOD FOR FIXING AN ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR PROVIDED AT ONE END OF AN ELECTRIC CABLE TO AN ELECTRICAL TERMINAL, CORRESPONDING INTERMEDIATE SUPPORT, AND DEVICE HAVING SUCH AN INTERMEDIATE SUPPORT
The fixing method involves the fixing, for example by screwing, of the electrical connector (202) to the electrical terminal (210). It also involves, before the fixing of the electrical connector (202) to the electrical terminal (210): fixing of the electrical terminal (210) to an intermediate support (206), and the engagement of the electrical connector (202) with at least one element (410, 416) of the intermediate support (206) in order to keep the electrical connector (202) in position with respect to the intermediate support (210).
Power and Communications Pedestal for Recreational Vehicles
The present disclosure generally relates to a recreational vehicle (RV) pedestal, system, network, and mobile software application. Pedestals may integrate power sources of different power levels for different vehicle load requirements. Pedestals may combine power, electronics, communications connections, and water sources in the same device. The pedestals may be networked so that users may access a mobile application to reserve, pay for, and review pedestals and the RV park.
Terminal module
A terminal module (10) has a metal case (20) with a ceiling wall (21), a bottom wall (51) facing the ceiling wall (21), opposed side walls (23) extending from the ceiling wall (21) toward the bottom wall (51) and retaining pieces (24). A coil spring (40) is sandwiched between the ceiling wall (21) and the bottom wall (51). The retaining pieces (24) face each other in a direction perpendicular to a facing direction of the side walls (23) and project toward the bottom wall (51) from the periphery of the ceiling wall (21). The side walls (23) and the retaining pieces (24) are disposed alternately on the periphery of the ceiling wall (21). A spring receiving portion (26) formed by the ceiling wall (21), the side walls (23) and the retaining pieces (24) receives an end part of the coil spring (40) on the side of the ceiling wall (21).
Hinged flap cover with angled seal for electric vehicle charging inlet
A charging inlet for an electric vehicle (EV) includes a body defining an opening having a conductive terminal arranged therein. A sealing cover is pivotally attached to the body and is moveable between an open position exposing the opening and conductive terminal, and a closed position sealing the opening and the conductive terminal with respect to an external environment. A sealing element of the cover defines a sealing plug including an angled sealing rib defined about an outer periphery thereof. The sealing plug and sealing rib are configured to engage with the opening of inlet body for sealing the opening with the cover in the closed position.
CHARGING CONNECTOR AND TROLLEY HAVING SAME
Disclosed is a charging connector for a trolley having a power storage module, including a body carrying a circuit and a first electrode plate and a second electrode plate provided at two ends of the body respectively, the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate being electrically connected through the circuit and the first electrode plate or the second electrode plate having an elastic arch portion with a variable arch height. The charging connector can keep the elastic contact between the second electrode of a front charging connector and the first electrode of a rear charging connector during front-back series connection, eliminating the defect that the current charging connector has bad contact. The trolley with the connector can be charged reliably and the power energy can be used to a peripheral device onboard the trolley. Such a multimedia trolley does not need repeated manual checking.
