Motor

This motor includes a yoke housing, a brush holder, a housing case and a circuit board. The brush holder holds a power supply brush and power supply terminals. The housing case has a board containing recess into which front end portions of the power supply terminals are inserted. The circuit board has terminals which are electrically connected to the power supply terminals within the board containing recess. The power supply terminals have terminal connection parts which linearly extend and are arranged in the board containing recess. The terminals are fork terminals which are electrically connected to the terminal connection parts. With respect to the terminal connection parts, portions closer to the base ends than terminal connected positions, where the terminals are connected, are covered by noise reduction member for reducing noise.

Brush arrangement

Provided is a brush arrangement of a wind turbine lightning protection system, realized to provide a current path from a hub to a canopy of the wind turbine, which brush arrangement includes a brush holder arranged to hold a brush in electrical contact with a contact surface at the exterior of the canopy, which contact surface is electrically connected to the hub; a bracket arranged to electrically connect the brush with a mounting plate; characterized by an access opening in the front wall of the canopy, which access opening is dimensioned to accommodate the bracket and brush holder; and a mounting arrangement for securing the mounting plate to the canopy front wall over the access opening, from within the canopy interior. A wind turbine including a lightning protection system with at least one such brush arrangement is also provided.

DC MOTOR

An object of the present invention is to provide a structure capable of stably removing noise. A DC motor includes: a brush in sliding contact with a commutator; a brush holder base holding the brush; a flexible wiring connected to the brush; and a choke coil connected to the brush via the wiring, wherein the brush holder base has a clamping portion restraining the wiring to extend along a direction parallel to a direction of a magnetic flux generated in the choke coil.

Motor brush quick change assembly

A motor brush quick change assembly that includes brush units and electrical spring contacts. The brush units include a carrier with a housing and a brush. The electrical spring contacts are connected to an electrical device. Each of the brush units is configured to be removably attached to the electrical device to contact one of the electrical spring contacts. The brush unit thus provide for both a mechanical and electrical connection to the electrical device. The brush units are configured to prevent the need for separate electrical leads that require separate attachment and detachment to the electrical device. This design provides for straight-forward removal and replacement that can be performed by a robotic device or an operator.

High frequency slip ring with through bore

The current disclosure is regarding an electrical slip ring assembly that transmit signals, data, and power across rotary platforms, especially for high frequency applications. The high frequency slip ring assembly with through bore may include a first stage slip ring, a second stage slip ring, a gear assembly, and an internal cable assembly. Rings may have an angled notch on a circumference to break said rings and have the same diameter. The first stage slip ring and second stage slip ring may be connected in series sequence, i.e., the stator in first stage slip ring is mechanically connected with the rotor in second stage slip ring. The internal cable assembly electrically connects the brush assembly in first stage slip ring with the ring assembly in said second stage slip ring in each channel respectively.

A motor includes a frame having an outer diameter of 10 millimeters or less and an inner surface. The motor also includes an annular magnet attached to the inner surface of the frame, a bracket provided at the frame, and a columnar brush formed of carbon and having an outer peripheral surface. In addition, the motor includes a commutator contacting the outer peripheral surface of the brush, and an elastic member supporting the brush at the bracket. A part of the elastic member is disposed inside of the columnar brush.

A shunt extends from a brush received by a brush box of a brush holder. The first end of the shunt can be connected to the brush, and the second end of the shunt can connect to the brush holder. A lever connects to a back plate of the brush holder, and the lever may reversibly and selectively rotate between a first position and a second position; the lever can have a distal portion, and the second position of the lever secures a portion of the shunt between the distal portion of the lever and another component of the brush holder. The secured portion of the shunt can restrict downward movement of the brush in the brush box, while a spring pushes downward on the brush in the brush in the brush box, to thereby fixedly position the brush in the brush box.
