Plug connector contact carrier having crimp and screw contact element chambers
The invention relates to a plug connector contact carrier (1) for selectively populating with electrical crimp contact elements (10) or electrical screw contact elements (20), comprising a plurality of contact chambers (2) for the contact elements, which contact chambers are provided in a contact grid, wherein the contact carrier has insertion openings (11) for inserting the contact elements into the contact chambers and wherein furthermore the contact chambers are property designed in such a way that selectively either a crimp contact element or a screw contact element can be inserted into and mounted in the contact chamber.
ELECTRICAL CONTACT ELEMENT HAVING A FRAME CLAMP FOR CONNECTING AT LEAST TWO ELECTRICAL CONDUCTORS
An electrical contact element having a frame clamp comprises a frame with a stationary thread, a clamping shoe and a clamping screw engaging in the stationary thread and being supported on the clamping shoe. A plastic holder with a cavity having two insertion openings arranged on opposite walls of the cavity is provided for inserting two electrical conductors to be contacted with one another, in which the frame clamp is arranged. The frame clamp is captively fixed in the cavity of the plastic holder by means of a latching. The frame clamp is mounted in a floating manner in the cavity of the plastic holder in the direction of at least one axis, which is oriented orthogonally to an insertion direction of the electrical contacts into the insertion openings.
Connectors for Linear Lighting
A connector for a strip of linear lighting includes an outer shell or block and an adapter configured to be removably inserted into a cavity of the outer shell. The adapter may be a printed circuit board (PCB) adapted to mount wires on one side or edge. On the opposite side or edge, a series of contact pins are formed on the underside of the adapter. The outer shell includes a pressure-applying mechanism, like screws that insert through its thickness and are secured in a bar with threaded holes. The adapter is positioned such that the screws bear on and supply pressure to the contact pins. A strip of linear lighting is inserted into a slot beneath the adapter such that the contact pins of the adapter coincide with the solder pads or other electrical contacts of the strip of linear lighting.
CONTACT APPARATUS AND MEDICAL DEVICE
A contact apparatus having at least one conductive, elastic, structured contact unit that may assume a first state and a second state and may be brought by supplying energy, such as pressure, from the first state into the second state, is provided for a particularly rapid and simple electrical contacting with a ground potential of cable shields of electrical cables with different diameters. The contact unit is configured so that, in the first state, the contract unit has a preparation for detachably inserting a plurality of electrical cables, and that, in the second state, the contract unit fixes the cables and establishes an electrical contact with the cable shields of the cables.
Temperature fuse and electrical junction box
A temperature fuse is ring-shaped and includes an insulation portion and a conductive portion arranged on an inner side and an outer side in a radial direction, and the conductive portion is formed of a thermal fuse element. An electrical junction box includes: a circuit board on which a switching element is mounted; a housing body for housing the circuit board; a conductive plate connected to the switching element, a first hole passing through the conductive plate; a terminal that is shaped as a plate and faces the conductive plate, a second hole passing through the terminal; the temperature fuse interposed between the conductive plate and the terminal in an axial direction, and a shaft-like insertion body for being inserted into the temperature fuse, the first hole, and the second hole.
TERMINAL POST ASSEMBLY FOR TERMINATION OF ELECTRICAL TERMINALS WITHOUT THE NEED FOR TOOLING
A terminal post assembly for connecting at least one electrical terminal to a substrate. The terminal post assembly includes a terminal post which has a substrate mounting portion, a terminal receiving portion and a cap receiving portion. The substrate mounting portion has a base and a securing portion which is dimensioned to extend through a mounting opening of the substrate. The terminal receiving portion is configured to receive the at least one electrical terminal thereon and make an electrical connection to the at least one electrical terminal. The cap receiving portion has a cap positioned thereon. the cap cooperates with the at least one electrical terminal to retain the at least one electrical terminal in position on the terminal receiving portion to maintain the electrical connection between the at least one electrical terminal and the terminal receiving portion of the terminal post of the terminal post assembly.
Electrical wiring device with flexible terminal for eliminating connection to ground
An electrical wiring system providing selectable referencing to earth ground having a housing having a first terminal for attachment to HOT, a second terminal for attachment to LOAD, and a flexible terminal having a first leg mounted to the electrical wiring device and a second leg connected to the first leg via a flexible joint, wherein the relative distance between the first leg and the second leg is adjustable between an extended position and a retracted position by flexing the flexible joint. The flexible joint being biased in the extended position, wherein the first leg defines a first aperture and the second leg defines a second aperture, and a load control circuit disposed within the housing and receiving a line input from the first terminal and a reference input. The reference input being referenced to the electric potential of the flexible terminal.
Modular system for producing an electrical unit and terminal device
A modular system for producing an electrical device includes: a plurality of terminal devices arrangeable on a printed circuit board to connect electrical conductors to the printed circuit board, the terminal devices each having a housing that has a connection side, arranged on which is a plug-in connection opening for insertion of an electrical conductor, and two lateral flanks, which are spaced apart from each other along a width direction and between which the connection side extends. A first terminal device of the plurality of terminal devices is a spring-force terminal. A second terminal device of the plurality of terminal devices is a screw-connection terminal. A housing of the first terminal device and a housing of the second terminal device have a same width, measured along the width direction.
