Cable-actuated position sensors and gear motors
11431231 · 2022-08-30 ·

Cable-actuated position sensors are described that employ multiple block and tackle arrangements to measure displacement of a draw wire or flexible cable. The disclosed sensors are relatively small and inexpensive. The disclosed sensors may also be used as part of a servo motor, or in conjunction with gear motors to provide positional information for operation of the gear motor.

Centrifugal actuator switch with a limiter for spring movement
09734969 · 2017-08-15 · ·

A centrifugal actuator switch includes a sleeve having a collar on which two protuberances are formed. Each protuberance engages a biasing member to limit movement of the biasing member when weighted lever arms of the switch are extended by centrifugal force as they rotate at a predetermined rotational speed.

Electric actuator

An electric actuator includes a housing, an electric driving unit, an selector member being rotatable about a rotation axis and moving in a direction of the rotation axis, a position holding member and detection object provided in the selector member, a detector, an engagement groove provided on a cooperation surface inside the housing, and a biasing member biasing the selector member in the direction of the rotation axis to make the position holding member approach the cooperation surface. The engagement groove is formed so that the detection object is positioned in one of a detectable area and an undetectable area when the position holding member is engaged with the engagement groove, and the detector is configured to switch between supply and cutoff of power to the electric driving unit in accordance with whether or not the detection object is detected.
