Quasi-linear antenna placement in millimeter wave systems
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may include a set of patch antennas in a quasi-linear arrangement along a top linear edge and one or more side linear edges of the UE in addition to a curved part between the two linear edges. For example, a first subset of the patch antennas may be linearly arranged on a first edge along the UE (e.g., the top of the UE), a second subset of the patch antennas may be linearly arranged along a second edge of the UE that is at an angle relative to the first edge (e.g., a side of the UE), and at least one patch antenna may be non-linearly arranged (e.g., quasi-linearly) on a curved line formed between the first subset of the patch antennas and the second subset of the patch antennas.
Radio-Control Transmitter
A radio-control transmitter is provided which includes a trigger which has a throttle lever and a brake lever, wherein the throttle lever is capable of freely rocking with respect to a rotation shaft along an imaginary plane orthogonal to the rotation shaft and has a longitudinal direction parallel to the imaginary plane, and wherein the brake lever is integrated with the throttle lever and extends in a direction intersecting the imaginary plane.
Antenna device, communication device, and communication method
An antenna device, including an antenna element constituted by a conductor, having a tubular shape, and including a long notch section formed to extend in an axial direction in at least a part of a side surface, a capacitor formed to bridge end portions of the notch section in a short direction, substantially at a center of the notch section in a longitudinal direction, and a power feed point formed at a position which is apart from the capacitor to a side of one end portion of the notch section in the longitudinal direction and corresponds to a side of one end portion of the notch section in the short direction.
Device for nonlethally incapacitating a human target
A device for nonlethally incapacitating a human target. The device can propel a net with one or more conductive loops toward a target. The device can then wirelessly electrically energize the conductive loop or loops to further incapacitate the target. In this manner a human target can be safely captured and controlled.
Information terminal
An information terminal with low power consumption is provided. The information terminal includes a liquid crystal element, a light-emitting element, a first transistor, and a touch sensor. The touch sensor includes a photodiode, a second transistor, and a third transistor. The first transistor has a function of controlling a current flowing through the light-emitting element. The photodiode is electrically connected to a gate of the third transistor through the second transistor. A gate of the first transistor is electrically connected to the gate of the third transistor through at least one transistor.
SMART PERSONAL SAFETY DEVICE
A smart personal safety device includes a chemical irritant that may be dispersed by a user in the event of a threat by an attacker. The smart personal safety device includes an alert signal sent when the user activates the smart personal safety device, sending an alert signal to a mobile device for security alert management by software contained on the mobile device.

RF antenna platform
An RF antenna platform selectively configurable for portable or non-portable use, the platform comprising: a body comprising at least one RF antenna for transmitting and receiving RF signals; at least one component interface provided on the body for interchangeable mounting of different types of stabilising component to the body; wherein the component interface is common to each of the different types of stabilising component such that the portable and non-portable configurations of the platform are selectively determined by the type of stabilising component mounted to the body.
ANTENNA DEVICE, COMMUNICATION DEVICE, AND COMMUNICATION METHOD
[Object] To enable confirmation of the state of a target person even in a situation in which the target person moves by constructing an instrument used by the predetermined target person as a communication device. [Solution] An antenna device, including: an antenna element constituted by a conductor, having a tubular shape, and including a long notch section formed to extend in an axial direction in at least a part of a side surface; a capacitor formed to bridge end portions of the notch section in a short direction, substantially at a center of the notch section in a longitudinal direction; and a power feed point formed at a position which is apart from the capacitor to a side of one end portion of the notch section in the longitudinal direction and corresponds to a side of one end portion of the notch section in the short direction.
Transmitter housing
A transmitter housing of an operating device for devices and installations, such as in particular remote-controlled mobile, industrial or commercial devices and installations, has a housing wall which encloses a receptacle, wherein at least one operating element is mounted on an outer side of the housing wall and control electronics are accommodated in the receptacle, and two retaining elements, which close the receptacle, which are connected to a left-hand end and a right-hand end of the housing wall and therein project beyond the contour of the housing wall on all sides of the latter. Therein it is provided that the retaining elements are produced from an elastomer material at least in a respective contact region with the housing wall.
