Base station and antenna installation including internet protocol addressable antenna line devices and methods of operating the same
A system includes a base station, an antenna coupled to the base station, and an antenna line device coupled to the antenna. The antenna line device is Internet Protocol (IP) addressable and is configured to receive a control signal from a controller.
Method for measuring channel between terminals in wireless communication system, and device therefor
The present invention provides a method for measuring a channel between terminals in a wireless communication system, and a device for the method. Particularly, a method for a first terminal to measure a channel in a wireless communication system may comprise: a step of transmitting, to a base station, a first message requesting sounding reference signal (SRS) configuration information associated with a second terminal; a step of receiving, from the base station, a second message including at least one of the SRS configuration information associated with the second terminal and identification information of the second terminal; a step of receiving at least one SRS from the second terminal, by using an SRS configuration associated with the second terminal identified based on the received second message; and a step of measuring a channel with the second terminal by using the received at least one SRS.
System and method for triggering an alarm during a sensor jamming attack
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a storage device, for triggering an alarm during a sensor jamming attack. In one aspect, a monitoring system sensor unit is disclosed that includes a sensor, a communication unit configured to communicate with a monitoring system using a range of frequencies, and a jamming detection unit. The jamming detection unit may include a processor and a computer storage media storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations. The operations include detecting a sensor jamming event, selecting a different form of communication other than the range of radio frequencies for the communication unit to communicate with the monitoring system, and providing, to the communication unit, an instruction to communicate with the monitoring system using the form of communication, wherein the communication unit may communicate, to the monitoring system using the form of communication, the sensor data.
Antenna detection using antenna return loss
A system includes a radio frequency (RF) connector terminal that is configured to connect to an antenna, and a RF transmitter that transmits RF power to the RF connector terminal. The system further includes a power measurement unit that measures, as a first power measurement, first RF power of the RF transmitter power that is reflected via the RF connector terminal, and a controller that causes a transmission path discontinuity between the RF transmitter and the RF connector terminal. The power measurement unit further measures, as a second power measurement, second RF power of the RF transmitter power that is reflected from the discontinuity. The controller further determines if a first antenna is connected to the RF connector terminal based on the first and second power measurements.

Systems, methods, and devices for electronic spectrum management
Systems, methods, and devices enable spectrum management by identifying, classifying, and cataloging signals of interest based on radio frequency measurements. In an embodiment, signals and the parameters of the signals may be identified and indications of available frequencies may be presented to a user. In another embodiment, the protocols of signals may also be identified. In a further embodiment, the modulation of signals, data types carried by the signals, and estimated signal origins may be identified.
