DECORATIVE RESPIRATOR AND COMMUNICATION MASK
A face mask is provided. A face mask comprising a decorative skin, having a strap attached to an outer perimeter of the decorative skin, a respirator attached to a connection piece and utilizes a filter, the connection piece being attached to the decorative skin, a speaker and a microphone mounted to an interior of the face mask, an electronic transceiver module attached to the face mask and a power source attached to the face mask. The strap secures the face mask to a head of the user, the filter is connected to the respirator such that an air-tight seal is formed. The power source powers the speaker, the microphone, and the electronic transceiver module. The electronic transceiver module comprises a processor coupled to a computer memory and non-transitory computer readable media, the processor configured to transmit and receive signals from the electronic transceiver module and the speaker or microphone.
Augmented reality with eyewear triggered IoT
Systems, devices, media, and methods are presented for an immersive augmented reality (AR) experience using an eyewear device. A portable eyewear device includes a processor, a memory, and a display projected onto at least one lens assembly. The memory has programming stored therein that, when executed by the processor, captures information depicting an environment surrounding the device and identifies a match between objects in that information and predetermined objects in previously obtained information for the same environment. When the position of the eyewear device reaches a preselected location with respect to the matched objects, a physical output is provided to produce the immersive experience. The physical output changes as the position of the eyewear device moves to maintain the immersive experience.
INTEGRATED TELECOMMUNICATIONS HANDSET
A rugged, ergonomic integrated telecommunications handset includes an electronic controller that interoperates and controls the universal remote control (URC), which connects to multiple radios simultaneously. The controller downloads options which are implemented by the controller. The handset has an ability to vibrate in a silent mode, and has a memory capacity, as well as GPS capacity. Ergonomically, the handset has a pair of side arrays of protruding ribs, which enhance gripping, preventing the handset from falling out of the user's hands, even if the user has gloves on in inclement weather conditions in the field. While compatible with the latest radio system software defined dual net and dual channel radio equipment, the handset is also backward compatible with single radios or with two or more separate radios, and may communicate using Bluetooth.
EAR-WORN ELECTRONIC HEARING DEVICE INCORPORATING AN ANTENNA WITH CUTOUTS
An ear-worn electronic hearing device comprises an enclosure configured to be supported by, at, in or on an ear of the wearer. Electronic circuitry is disposed in the enclosure and comprises a wireless transceiver. An antenna is disposed in or on the enclosure and operably coupled to the wireless transceiver. The antenna has a physical size and comprises a plurality of cutouts disposed along a periphery of the antenna. The cutouts are configured to increase an electrical length of the antenna without an increase in the physical size of the antenna. The antenna can comprise at least one interior window having a window periphery. A plurality of window cutouts are disposed along the window periphery. The window cutouts are configured to increase a path length of current distribution along the window periphery.
HEADSET COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application is a headset communication system. The headset communication system comprises: a bone conduction headset, comprising a first Bluetooth module; an intercom device, comprising a first external interface; an external communication module, comprising a second external interface and a second Bluetooth module. The external communication module is detachably provided in the intercom device and being coupled to the intercom device by means of the first external interface and the second external interface, and the bone conduction headset and the intercom device perform Bluetooth pairing by means of the first Bluetooth module and the second Bluetooth module so as to establish a Bluetooth connection.
Adaptive eyewear antenna
An eyewear device that includes a lens; a support structure adapted to be worn on the head of a user, the support structure including a rim configured to support the lens in a viewing area visible to the user when wearing the support structure; an antenna embedded into or forming part of the support structure, the antenna at least partially extending into the rim; a transceiver adapter to send and receive signals; and a tuner coupled between the transceiver and the antenna, the tuner adapted to match impedance between the antenna and the transceiver to improve power transfer.
Systems and methods of exposure control with wireless links
Described embodiments provide systems and methods for adjusting a radio usage of a wireless link according to a time-averaged specific absorption rate (SAR). A first device configured to concurrently maintain a first wireless link with a second device and a second wireless link with an access point of a network may determine a proposed radio usage of the first wireless link and the second wireless link. The first device may determine a state of the first device according to the proposed radio usage and sensor information from at least one sensor of the first device. The first device may determine a time-averaged SAR of a user due to the first device, according to a defined time window and the determined state of the first device, to adjust the proposed radio usage of the first wireless link and the second wireless link to satisfy a threshold level of the time-averaged SAR.
System and method of vehicle aware gesture recognition in vehicles with smart helmets
A helmet includes a transceiver configured to receive vehicle data from one or more sensors located on a vehicle, an inertial measurement unit (IMU) configured to collect helmet motion data of the helmet associated with a rider of the vehicle, and a processor in communication with the transceiver and IMU, and programmed to receive, via the transceiver, vehicle data from the one or more sensors located on the vehicle, determine a gesture in response to the vehicle data from the one or more sensors located on the vehicle and the helmet motion data from the IMU, and output on a display of the helmet a status interface related to the vehicle, in response to the gesture.
