A platform for audio and electronic music applications where the electronics are implemented as modules, and the modules mount in a cabinet with a common power supply and infrastructure. The platform addresses problems in electrical, mechanical, usability, and power distribution areas, and is suitable for guitar effects, synthesizers, studio equipment, and DJ gear.

An electronic percussion instrument controller includes a selection input device, a setting input device and a processor. The selection input device is configured to select an instrument which defines a tone that corresponds to a musical performance input device. The setting input device is configured to selectively set a tone lock for the musical performance input device. The processor is programmed to maintain a set tone of the musical performance input device for which the tone lock is set by the setting device.

A tactical audio distribution device may include a housing. A plurality of connection jacks may be coupled to the housing. A plurality of microphone input signal connection points may be contained in the housing and may be in electrical communication with at least a portion of the connection jacks. At least one digital audio matrix processor may be contained in the housing. The at least one digital audio matrix processor may be configured to receive audio signals based on audio signals from microphones, to combine those signals into a mixed audio signal, and to output the mixed audio signal. A plurality of headphones output signal connection points may be contained in the housing and be in electrical communication with at least some of the connection jacks and may be configured to receive signals based on the mixed audio signal.

A tactical audio distribution device may include a housing. A plurality of connection jacks may be coupled to the housing. A plurality of microphone input signal connection points may be contained in the housing and may be in electrical communication with at least a portion of the connection jacks. At least one digital audio matrix processor may be contained in the housing. The at least one digital audio matrix processor may be configured to receive audio signals based on audio signals from microphones, to combine those signals into a mixed audio signal, and to output the mixed audio signal. A plurality of headphones output signal connection points may be contained in the housing and be in electrical communication with at least some of the connection jacks and may be configured to receive signals based on the mixed audio signal.

An apparatus for combining input signals produced by a plurality of electric musical devices includes a plurality of audio buses and a plurality of segments. Each segment includes input circuitry configured to receive at least one input signal from at least one electric musical device and to deliver the at least one input signal to one of the plurality of audio buses; a plurality of variable adjustment devices each associated with a corresponding one of the audio buses and each configured to change at least one property of an input signal received by another of the plurality of segments and carried on the corresponding one of the audio buses independent from input signals carried on other of the plurality of audio buses; and a mixer configured to combine the input signals carried on each of the plurality of audio buses into an output signal.

An apparatus for combining input signals produced by a plurality of electric musical devices includes a plurality of audio buses and a plurality of segments. Each segment includes input circuitry configured to receive at least one input signal from at least one electric musical device and to deliver the at least one input signal to one of the plurality of audio buses; a plurality of variable adjustment devices each associated with a corresponding one of the audio buses and each configured to change at least one property of an input signal received by another of the plurality of segments and carried on the corresponding one of the audio buses independent from input signals carried on other of the plurality of audio buses; and a mixer configured to combine the input signals carried on each of the plurality of audio buses into an output signal.

A method and system for generating media content comprising synchronised video and audio components in which media content is captured using a camera function of a user device to generate media content having a captured video component and a captured audio component corresponding to a speaker output. An audio signal is transmitted corresponding to an audio signal input to the speaker; the wirelessly transmitted audio is synchronised with the captured video component and/or captured audio component of the captured media content to generate combined media content.

An apparatus for carrying sound production components includes a frame with a plurality of vertically interspaced mounting structures, which are vertically adjustable. Each of the vertically interspaced mounting structures releasably engage with a plurality of sound production components. A folding surface with at least one attached wing is pivotably mounted to a top of the frame, such that the folding surface and the at least one attached wing can releasably engage with at least one of the plurality of sound production components. A bag receives the frame in a folded configuration and encloses the frame and the plurality of sound production components.

An apparatus for carrying sound production components includes a frame with a plurality of vertically interspaced mounting structures, which are vertically adjustable. Each of the vertically interspaced mounting structures releasably engage with a plurality of sound production components. A folding surface with at least one attached wing is pivotably mounted to a top of the frame, such that the folding surface and the at least one attached wing can releasably engage with at least one of the plurality of sound production components. A bag receives the frame in a folded configuration and encloses the frame and the plurality of sound production components.
