METHODS AND APPARATUS TO CREDIT MEDIA BASED ON PRESENTATION RATE
20220368441 · 2022-11-17 ·

Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to credit media based on the presentation rate. An example apparatus disclosed herein includes memory and instructions. The example apparatus disclosed herein further includes at least one processor to execute the instructions to cause the at least one processor to at least detect a first peak in a first frequency range of audio data associated with monitored media, detect a second peak in a second frequency range of the audio data, the second frequency range different from the first frequency range, detect that a presentation rate of the monitored media is increased relative to a reference version of the media in response to the second peak being greater than the first peak, generate a signature corresponding to the monitored media, and transmit the signature to a media monitoring entity to credit the monitored media based on the presentation rate.

METHODS AND APPARATUS TO DETERMINE WHEN A SMART DEVICE IS OUT-OF-TAB

Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to determine whether a smart device is in-tab are disclosed. An example apparatus includes memory; instructions in the apparatus; and processor circuitry to execute the instructions to: provide smart television data from a smart television as an input to a model to generate an output, the smart television data being included in population data from a population of smart televisions; determine a tab status of the smart television based on the output; in response to the tab status of the smart television being out-of-tab, remove the smart television data from the population data; and credit media based on the population data.

Methods and apparatus to determine a conditional probability based on audience member probability distributions for media audience measurement

Methods, apparatus, systems to determine a conditional probability based on audience member probability distributions for media audience measurement are disclosed. Disclosed example methods for media audience measurement include determining a first audience probability distribution for a first member of a household and determining a second audience probability distribution for a second member of the household. Disclosed example methods also include calculating probabilities for audience combinations of the first member and the second member of the household based on the first audience probability distribution and the second audience probability distribution. Disclosed example methods further include determining a household audience characteristic probability based on the calculated probabilities of the audience combinations of the household. The household audience characteristic indicates likelihoods of different possible audience compositions of the household for a media event.

Method and apparatus for determining the accuracy of targeted advertising

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, detecting, by a processing system including a processor, a transmission of a signal that identifies an advertisement, transmitting, by the processing system, a first indication of having detected the signal, and transmitting, by the processing system, a second indication of a status of the processing system when the signal is detected. Other embodiments are disclosed.

METHODS, APPARATUS, AND ARTICLES OF MANUFACTURE TO LOCATE PERSONS BASED ON ADJUSTABLE SIGNAL STRENGTH THRESHOLDS
20230033659 · 2023-02-02 ·

Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture are disclosed to locate persons based on adjustable signal strength thresholds. Example instructions cause processor circuitry to at least collect monitoring area information for a monitoring environment. Example instructions additionally cause the processor circuitry to determine, based on the monitoring area information, one or more one or more signal strength thresholds to set for one or more radio frequency (RF) beacons deployed to the monitoring environment. In some examples, example instructions cause the processor circuitry to, after reception of monitoring information from one or more devices in the monitoring environment, process the monitoring information and the one or more signal strength thresholds to determine one or more locations of the one or more devices in the monitoring environment.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING MEDIA CONTENT FOR AN EXHIBIT OR DISPLAY
20220345768 · 2022-10-27 ·

Systems and methods for providing media content to supplement an exhibit from an image of an audience for the exhibit include an image capture device proximate the exhibit that captures an image of the audience that includes the faces of audience members. A facial recognition process is used to identify each audience member, and certain audience characteristics are determined from the captured image. Stored information about the identified audience members and/or the audience characteristic information are used to determine the media content to provide to a playback device for playback while the exhibit is viewed by the audience.
