According to one method for obtaining information from a hardened forward error correction (FEC) implementation, the method occurs at a test device implemented using at least one processor and at least one memory. The method includes copying data from a data stream that is to be processed by a hardened FEC engine; delaying the copied data while the hardened FEC engine generates corresponding error corrected output using the data; comparing the copied data and the corresponding error corrected output for differences; and generating FEC related metrics based on the comparison.

Chip failure detection method and device

Embodiments herein provide a method for detecting a failure of a chip. The method includes dividing a plurality of channels of the chip into multiple channel groups, providing an input bit stream to each channel group of the multiple channel groups and monitoring whether there is a difference between an output bit stream of each channel in the channel group and the input bit stream, and determining based on the difference whether each of the multiple channel groups is an abnormal channel group. Input bit streams provided to respective channels in a same channel group are identical.

Method and apparatus for detecting characteristic sequence in wireless communication system

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for detecting a characteristic sequence in a wireless communication system. The method includes: receiving, by a receiving end base station, an original characteristic sequence periodically transmitted by a transmitting end base station; detecting out, by the receiving end base station, a candidate characteristic sequence meeting a preset condition from the original characteristic sequence; determining whether the candidate characteristic sequence is a valid characteristic sequence; and detecting whether there is an associated event based on a preset rule according to the detected valid characteristic sequence. In this way, it is solved the problem that it cannot be guaranteed that the number of characteristic sequences falsely detected is reduced without increasing the missed-detection probability in a scenario of larger number of detections in the prior art.

Detecting data in multiantenna wireless communication systems

A multiple-input multiple output (MIMO) wireless receiver is provided to detect data in MIMO streams received via a multi-antenna system. A filter based detector performs a first pass at decoding codewords in a MIMO bitstream, and then a parity check is performed to determine that the codewords were decoded correctly. If one or more codewords are decoded correctly, those codewords can be used as a candidate codeword and used to generate a bit log likelihood ratio as an input for a second MIMO detector pass which uses a list based MIMO detector. The first pass with a high speed, simple detector facilitates decreasing the list size for the second, optimum list based detector which helps improve overall throughput.

Data transmission method, device, electronic equipment, and storage medium

The present disclosure provides a method, a device, electronic equipment, and a storage medium for data transmission, wherein the method includes sending data acquisition commands to a plurality of target devices and turning on a timer; for any first target device of the plurality of target devices, detecting whether there is first target data transmitted by the first target device on the bus within a preset timing time; if yes, performing a data verification on the first target data and determining a communication flag bit of the first target device based on the check result; and determining whether to receive the first target data transmitted by the first target device based on the communication flag bit of the first target device.

Systems and methods for establishing a diagnostic transmission mode and communicating over the same

Upon detection of a trigger, such as the exceeding of an error threshold or the direction of a user, a diagnostic link system enters a diagnostic information transmission mode. This diagnostic information transmission mode allows for two modems to exchange diagnostic and/or test information that may not otherwise be exchangeable during normal communication. The diagnostic information transmission mode is initiated by transmitting an initiate diagnostic link mode message to a receiving modem accompanied by a cyclic redundancy check (CRC). The receiving modem determines, based on the CRC, if a robust communications channel is present. If a robust communications channel is present, the two modems can initiate exchange of the diagnostic and/or test information. Otherwise, the transmission power of the transmitting modem is increased and the initiate diagnostic link mode message re-transmitted to the receiving modem until the CRC is determined to be correct.
