Transparently Connecting Mobile Devices to Multiple Wireless Local Area Networks
A method can include determining that a mobile device is within a communication range of an access point for a first wireless local area network, causing the mobile device to present an interface that receives user input for at least one of authenticating the mobile device or authorizing the mobile device, and connecting the mobile device to the first wireless local area network based on the user input received via the interface. The method can further include determining that the mobile device is within a communication range of an access point for a second wireless local area network, determining a service set identifier for each access point is governed by a common access policy, and connecting the mobile device to the second wireless local area network based on the service set identifiers being governed by the common access policy.
MONITORING OF PRODUCTS
The invention relates to the monitoring of products by means of active radio tags. According to the invention, packagings of products are provided with an active radio tag that detects at least one environmental condition and/or at least one packaging state, and which emits a signal at time intervals, which provides information about a unique identifier and at least one state in which the respective product is found. The signal is picked up by a receiver that extracts the unique identifier and the state information and transmits same together with location information to an external server.
METHOD OF FORWARDING DATA BETWEEN IP DEVICES
One embodiment relates to data routing using first and second pieces of IP type equipment, the second piece of equipment being suitable for communicating with a management node of a sensor network. The sensors may have respective IP addresses that are generated by said management node, the node also having a function of routing data in the sensor network. The method includes, in a router, generating an address for the second piece of equipment, verifying the availability of the address in the sensor network from the management node, and if the address is available, requesting the management node to add the second piece of equipment in the sensor network.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ACCESSING WIRELESS ACCESS POINT
A method for accessing a wireless access point is provided. The method includes: receiving access information of the wireless access point broadcasted by a preset device, the access information including a Basic Service Set Identifier (BSSID) and an access password of the wireless access point, and the preset device having successfully accessed the wireless access point; unicasting device discovery information according to the BSSID, the device discovery information including the BSSID; receiving feedback information sent by the wireless access point, the feedback information including a Service Set Identifier (SSID) of the wireless access point; and accessing the wireless access point according to the SSID in the feedback information and the access password.
Wireless base station and wireless communication terminal and wireless communication system
A wireless communication system transmits information to a communication terminal moving through a spot wireless area. In an integrated base station, an external information communication section controls communication with a server. A contents memory section stores contents received from the server. A wireless LAN communication section communicates with the communication terminal. A control section establishes connection with the communication terminal using a first connection not requiring an authentication procedure for connection with the communication terminal or using a second connection requiring the authentication procedure for connection with the communication terminal. An access control (restriction) section permits access from the communication terminal to the contents memory section and prohibits access to the server when a type of connection with the communication terminal is the first connection and permits access from the communication terminal to the contents memory section and to the server in the case of the second connection.
APPARATUS, METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An apparatus includes a memory and a processor configured to acquire a device driver corresponding to a device, deploy the acquired device driver so as to be operable, generate an address allowing a function of the device to be called from one or more client apparatuses, register the address and a path to the device driver in association with each other, generate, based on first information in which a function to be provided by each device is described and the address, second information including the function of the device and the address, and register the second information.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IMPLEMENTING NETWORKING TRANSFER SERVICE
Disclosed is a method for implementing a networking transfer service, comprising the following steps: (1) user registration; (2) initial setting of supplier information, role activation of a supplier and wireless hotspot activation of the supplier; (3) a networking transfer service, comprising that a demander terminal extracts supplier service unit price information from a codeword of a wireless hotspot SSID of the supplier; (4) charging of the networking transfer service; and (5) termination of the networking transfer service. A system is provided and comprises a demander terminal, a supplier terminal and a networking transfer server. The demander terminal comprises a networking transfer service demander management module, a WLAN module and a human-machine interface; the supplier terminal comprises a networking transfer service supplier management module, a charging module, a supplier information field storage space, a routing control module, a wireless hotspot module, an Internet connection module and a human-machine interface; the WLAN module of the demander interacts with the wireless hotspot module of the supplier in a wireless manner; the supplier terminal is connected to the Internet and the networking transfer server through the Internet connection module.
COMMUNICATION APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD FOR COMMUNICATION APPARATUS
In a case where wireless connection to a device fails because the number of terminals in wireless connection with the device has reached a maximum number, a communication apparatus instructs the device to stop operating in a direct wireless communication mode.
METHOD FOR COMMUNICATING IN A NETWORK COMPRISING A VIRTUAL NETWORK , AND A COMMUNICATION NODE COMPRISING A VIRTUAL NETWORK ENTITY
The invention relates to a method of a communication node communicating in a network comprising a plurality of nodes, said nodes belonging to at least one virtual network, wherein the method comprises the communication node identifying whether a first data packet belongs to said virtual network based on at least one of:—a cryptographic key used for the data packet;—a cryptographic key identifier present in the first data packet;—a Personal Area Network identifier present in the first data packet; or the combination of a cryptographic key and a sender IP address used for the first data packet.
METHOD FOR PAIRING DEVICES USING NEAR FIELD COMMUNICATION AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS USING SAME
Various embodiments of the present invention pertain to a method for pairing devices using near field communication and an electronic apparatus using the same. The electronic apparatus comprises: a first wireless communication module supporting first wireless communication; a second wireless communication module supporting second wireless communication; a memory; and a processor operatively connected to the first wireless communication module, the second wireless communication module and the memory, wherein the processor is set to: detect a tag of an external electronic apparatus via the first wireless communication module; transmit a first command for driving a designated application of the external electronic apparatus to the external electronic apparatus via the first wireless communication module; receive, via the first wireless communication module, Bluetooth address information of the external electronic apparatus corresponding to the driving of the designated application; and perform, via the second wireless communication module, pairing with the external electronic apparatus on the basis of the received Bluetooth address information, wherein the pairing is performed in a tagging manner instead of a scanning manner during the pairing of the electronic apparatus with the external electronic apparatus, to thereby intuitively select the external electronic apparatus to be paired and simply perform a pairing process.
