An apparatus for transmitting broadcasting signal according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a waveform generator configured to generate a host broadcasting signal; a transmitter identification signal generator configured to generate a transmitter identification signal for identifying a transmitter; and a combiner configured to inject the transmitter identification signal into the host broadcasting signal in a time domain so that the transmitter identification signal is transmitted synchronously with the host broadcasting signal.
COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
A communication method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: A terminal device determines a first sequence whose length is Σ.sub.i=0.sup.M−1 K.sub.i, and sends the first sequence on M subcarrier groups, where an i.sup.th subcarrier group in the M subcarrier groups includes K.sub.i subcarriers on a same symbol, i=0, 1, . . . , M−1, and frequency domain positions of subcarriers included in any two of the M subcarrier groups are different and belong to different symbols; and a sequence carried in each of the M subcarrier groups is a fragment of the first sequence, and fragments carried in any two subcarrier groups are different. According to the method, the terminal device sends the first sequence on the M subcarrier groups, so that interference between different terminal devices is small when channel estimation is performed by combining M symbols. This can effectively improve accuracy of channel estimation.
LTF COMPRESSED TRANSMISSION
In a wireless local area network (LAN) system, a station (STA) can generate a plurality of long training field (LTF) symbols used for a plurality of streams including first to fourth streams. The first to fourth streams use different LTF sequences, and the LTF sequences used by the first to fourth streams may be multiplied by the same element of a P matrix. The STA may include a step for transmitting a PHY protocol data unit (PPDU) including the plurality of LTF symbols.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND TRANSMISSION DEVICE
A transmission apparatus including the number of antennas different from a reception apparatus and performing transmission by SC-MIMO to and from the reception apparatus includes a training signal generation unit that generates a known signal predetermined, a CP addition unit that adds a CP to each symbol of a transmission signal including the known signal, a weight generation unit that generates a transmission weight based on a transposed adjugate matrix that is a product of a channel matrix estimated based on the known signal by the reception apparatus and a complex conjugate transpose of the channel matrix, and a transmission beam formation unit that uses the transmission weight to form a transmission beam for the transmission signal where the CP is added.
Enhancements to phase-noise compensation reference signal design and scrambling
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In one example, phase-noise compensation tracking signals (PTRS) may be transmitted using sets of resource blocks (RBs), where a frequency for each PTRS within the sets RBs is different from a frequency corresponding to a direct current (DC) tone. In another example, a time-domain-based PTRS may be used, where a discrete Fourier transform (DFT)-spread-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (DFT-s-OFDM) symbol may include a cyclic prefix and a PTRS inserted in the DFT-s-OFDM symbol. Additionally or alternatively, a guard-interval-based DFT-s-OFDM symbol may include a PTRS that replaces part or all of a guard interval. In some examples, subsets of tones used for PTRS across a system bandwidth may be transmitted using a scrambled modulation symbol, where at least one antenna port may be used for the transmission of PTRS.
Apparatus for generating broadcast signal frame for signaling time interleaving mode and method using the same
An apparatus and method for generating a broadcast signal frame for signaling a time interleaving mode are disclosed. An apparatus for generating broadcast signal frame according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a time interleaver configured to generate a time-interleaved signal by performing time interleaving on a BICM output signal; and a frame builder configured to generate a broadcast signal frame including a preamble for signaling a time interleaving mode corresponding to the time interleaver for each of physical layer pipes (PLPs).
Base station apparatus, terminal apparatus, communication method, and integrated circuit
A terminal apparatus for communicating with a base station apparatus, the terminal apparatus including: a transmission unit configured to transmit a Phase-tracking reference signal (PTRS); and a higher layer processing unit configured to configure information of mapping of the PTRS. An antenna port for the PTRS is associated with an antenna port for a Demodulation reference signal (DMRS).
Method and apparatus for transmitting wakeup packet in wireless LAN system
A method and an apparatus for transmitting a wakeup packet in a wireless LAN system are proposed. Specifically, a transmitter generates a wakeup packet by applying an OOK scheme. The transmitter transmits the wakeup packet to a receiver via an 80 MHz channel. The 80 MHz channel includes first to fourth subchannels. If some of the first to fourth subchannels are busy or there are no pending wakeup packets for the receiver in some of the subchannels, some of the subchannels are punctured. The wakeup packet is transmitted via the remaining subchannels of the first to fourth subchannels. Each of the first to fourth subchannels is a 20 MHz channel.
