Device communication
11564194 · 2023-01-24 · ·

A device-communication system may receive, from a user device via a first network, communication data originating from a first device connected to the user device via a second network having a type different from that of the first network. The device-communication system may process the communication data to determine a corresponding device-management system, and may communicate further with the user device for additional identification information, if necessary. The device-communication system determines which of a plurality of device-management systems should receive the communication data and sends the data to the appropriate system.

A remote network management platform may include persistent storage containing: (i) data related to a managed network, and (ii) a persona of a user. The remote network management platform may also include a platform application associated with a web-based user interface and using a portion of the data. The remote network management platform may also include a recommendation engine with access to a set of rules or a machine learning (ML) model corresponding to the platform application. The recommendation engine may be configured to: (i) read, from the persistent storage, the portion of the data and the persona; (ii) apply, to the portion of the data and the persona, the set of rules or the ML model to generate one or more recommendations; and (iii) transmit, by way of the web-based user interface and to the user, representations of the one or more recommendations.

Network Topology Construction Method and Apparatus, and Computer Readable Medium

Various embodiments of the teachings herein include a network topology construction method. The method may include: acquiring a MAC address table of each port on each switch in a target network; determining a first connection relationship in the target network according to the MAC addresses of terminal devices in the target network included in each acquired MAC address table; determining at least one first port according to the first connection relationship in the target network; determining a second connection relationship in the target network according to the MAC addresses included in the MAC address table of each of the first ports in the target network; and determining a network topology of the target network according to the first connection relationship and the second connection relationship in the target network.

Method and control system for monitoring plurality of equipment in SNMP based network

The present invention discloses a method and control system for monitoring plurality of equipment in industrial plant connected over SNMP based network. Each of plurality of equipment is associated with a server which is communicatively connected with client. One or more equipment which are capable of reporting monitoring objects are identified using a configuration file. Further, polling for monitoring objects based on capability data associated with one or more equipment is performed. Secure configuration of plurality of equipment in SNMP based network is achieved. Management of network traffic is performed. Unauthorized extraction of monitoring objects is reduced in the network.

Software-as-a-service deployment of printing services in a local network

A method for configuring, via a website, a device to provide printing services to a local network is described. The method includes creating, via a website, a service host object that comprises a network address of a device on a local network and a service host name. The method also includes configuring, via the website, one or more printing settings for one or more printing services. The method further includes sending an indication to the device on the local network to run a service manager. The method additionally includes sending an indication to the service manager to run the one or more printing services on the local network based on the one or more printing service settings.

Dynamic remote terminal unit (RTU) configurator assignment server enabled wastewater evaporation pond management system

Systems and methods include a computer-implemented method for displaying future trends of evaporation pond wastewater quantity and quality. A distributed float network is managed using a wastewater evaporation pond management (WEPM) system with an embedded supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system. The WEPM collects data, including sensory information, from evaporation ponds. A configuration data upload for remote terminal units (RTUs) managed by the WEPM is automated using the WEPM system and the embedded SCADA system. Evaporation pond wastewater quantity and quality and adherence to environmental standards and regulations are monitored using the WEPM system. Environmental compliance data is collected from the distributed float network. The environmental compliance data collected from the distributed float network managed by the WEPM system is analyzed. A dashboard is provided displaying future trends of the evaporation ponds wastewater quantity and quality.

Implementation of a mock server for discovery applications

A mock server implementation for discovery applications is provided. A computing system includes a mock server, which receives a client request from a mock client on a discovery server. The client request corresponds to a user query associated with a discovery of resources on a remote computing system. The mock server determines a first response from a mock response dataset. The first response to the client request is determined based on the received client request. The mock response dataset includes a set of responses associated with a sequence of operations executed in the past for the discovery of resources on the remote computing system. The mock server transmits the determined first response to the mock client on the discovery server. The mock client receives the transmitted first response and sends the received first response to a discovery application interface on a user device.
