In some examples, a payment service system receives a request to associate a proxy identifier with a user account of a charity. The proxy identifier is individually distinguishable from other proxy identifiers associated with user accounts of other users, and has a syntax including a symbol and a string of one or more characters. The symbol and the string are concatenated such that the symbol appears immediately before the string. The payment service system receives, via an application on a user device of a user, an input associated with the proxy identifier, and performs a database lookup to identify the user account associated with the proxy identifier. Information associated with the user account of the charity is presented via a user interface presented by the application. The user interface enables the user to donate funds from a financial account of the user to the user account of the charity.

A method for enabling cloud-based management services using an on-site management cloud engine includes establishing a single secure communication channel between a management cloud engine (MCE) located in a customer premises and a cloud management services platform located in a cloud computing infrastructure, receiving, by the MCE from a unified management service (UMS) manager located in the cloud management services platform, a management instruction message directed to at least one network function located in the customer premises via the single secure communication channel, converting instruction data contained in the management instruction message to a legacy protocol recognized by the at least one network function, and providing the converted instruction data to the at least one network function.
Systems, Apparatuses and Methods for Cooperating Routers
Methods and systems are provided for cooperating routers in communication networks. The cooperating routers conduct a handshake to exchange information with respect to “cooperation types” which they are capable of performing and/or are configured to perform. In an exemplary “emergency connection” cooperation type, one cooperating router may use the ISP connection of another cooperating router to send and receive packets. In an exemplary “bandwidth sharing” cooperation type, one cooperating router may make excess bandwidth available for use by other cooperating routers. In an exemplary “latency optimization” cooperation type, one cooperating router may use another cooperating router to transmit duplicates of packets or to implement suppression techniques.

Current discovery mechanisms lack capabilities, such as capabilities related to permissions associated with a given registrant for example. In an example embodiment, a registrant of a service layer can communicate with a network node that hosts the service layer. The network node may receive a discovery request for a resource from the registrant. The discovery may request include various context. For example, the context of the discovery request may be indicative of an operation that the registrant intends to perform on the resource, a role that the registrant intends to assume if the registrant accesses the resource, a location in which the registrant intends to access the resource, or a subscription plan that the registrant intends to use if the registrant accesses the resource. Based on the context of the discovery request, the network node may determine whether one or more resources at the service layer satisfy the discovery request.
System and method for supporting web services in a multitenant application server environment
In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for supporting web services in a multitenant application server environment. The system comprises a domain with a plurality of partitions, wherein each partition can include one or more web services, and a web services inspection language (WSIL) application. A partition-aware managed bean server can include managed beans for generating addresses of web services deployed to each partition, wherein the generated addresses can be retrieved by the WSIL application in that partition for use by clients in accessing the web services. The system can further include a web service security manager that can secure web services in each partition, by attaching security policies to each web service endpoint and enforcing the security policies on requests directed to that web service endpoint.

The method includes: When an AF entity establishes an AF session with a policy server, the AF entity sends a first HTTP request message to the policy server, herein the AF entity sends AF session identifier information to the policy server via the first HTTP request message, or AF session identifier information is allocated by the policy server and is sent to the AF entity via an answer for the first HTTP request message. When the policy server notifies the AF entity of a traffic plane event of the above-mentioned AF session, the policy server sends a second HTTP request message carrying the AF session identifier information to the AF entity. The AF entity returns an answer for the second HTTP request message to the policy server.

The REDUP may include a memory and processor with instructions to: obtain a remote embedded device connection request message from a remote embedded device and analyze the message to determine a version of embedded instructions on the remote embedded device. With that, the REDUP may determine if other remote embedded devices similar to the remote embedded device have provided request messages by searching a remote embedded device connection request message database. This allows the REDUP to determine if a potential issue requiring updates on the remote embedded device exists. With that, the REDUP may determine and provide an update for the remote embedded device.
