The communication node first receives first information and then receives a first radio signal; only X1 bit(s) in a first bit block is(are) used for generating the first radio signal, the first bit block is obtained as an output of channel coding of a first code block, the first code block includes a positive integer number of bit(s), and the first bit block includes a positive integer number of bit(s); when channel decoding fails, at least X2 bit(s) in the first bit block can be used for decoding of the first code block with combining, the first information is used for determining the X2 bit(s), and the X2 is a positive integer. The disclosure reduces requirements on a buffer and reduces complexity.

In the wireless communication apparatus, an encoding section encodes and outputs transmitting data to a bit converting section, and the bit converting section converts at least one bit of a plurality of bits constituting a data symbol to be used for channel estimation, among the encoded bit strings, into ‘1’ or ‘0’ and outputs it to a modulating section. The modulating section modulates the bit string inputted from the bit converting section by using a single modulation mapper and a plurality of data symbols are generated.

The data for the first service requires lower latency than the data for the second service and the data for the first service includes an original set of data for the first service and at least one repetition of the original set of data for the first service. The transmitting node adjusts resources consumed by the data for the first service based on available transmission resources. During the time period the transmitting node then transmits the data for the first service using the adjusted resources while data for the second service is transmitted during the time period.

The UE may receive one or more reference signals within the one or more subbands and determine a group CQI index corresponding to the group of CCs based at least in part on the one or more reference signals. The UE may then transmit a report to the base station indicating the group CQI index and the base station may determine a CQI index for each of the one or more subbands based on the group CQI index.
