Energy per resource element determination for sub-band full-duplex communication

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine an energy per resource element (EPRE) value for a slot based at least in part on whether the slot is associated with a half-duplex configuration or a full-duplex configuration, wherein the EPRE value is a first value when the slot is associated with the half-duplex configuration and a second value when the slot is associated with the full-duplex configuration; and perform a communication in the slot in accordance with the EPRE value. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Embodiments of the disclosure provide a method and device for performing communication. The method comprises: determining a target transmission pattern from a set of candidate transmission patterns, wherein each of the candidate transmission patterns contains a DL transmission part and/or a UL transmission part, and the candidate transmission patterns differ from one another in terms of time durations of the respective DL transmission parts and/or the UL transmission parts; and performing communication between a network device and a terminal device by using the target transmission pattern.

Techniques for self-interference cancelation

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless node may transmit, to a control node, an indication of a capability of the first wireless node to perform one or more self-interference cancelation (SIC) procedures between a first antenna array of the first wireless node and a second antenna array of the first wireless node. The first wireless node may receive, from the control node in response to the indication of the capability, a configuration for the first wireless node to use to perform a SIC procedure of the one or more SIC procedures for full-duplex communications. The first wireless node may then communicate, according to the received configuration, with the control node, a control node, or any combination thereof, using the first antenna array and the second antenna array.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining channel cross correlation data relating to multiple user equipment (UEs) being served in a cell, wherein the channel cross correlation data comprises a correlation coefficient associated with a first UE of the multiple UEs and a second UE of the multiple UEs, identifying that the first UE is experiencing decreasing throughput, responsive to the identifying that the first UE is experiencing decreasing throughput, determining whether the correlation coefficient associated with the first UE and the second UE satisfies a correlation threshold, and, based on a first determination that the correlation coefficient does not satisfy the correlation threshold, adjusting a downlink (DL) transmit power allocation for transmissions directed to the first UE. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Energy efficient CSI measurement for FD-MIMO

Dynamic reconfiguration of CSI-RS resources for CSI reporting is described for full dimension multiple input, multiple output (FD-MIMO) systems. While a larger number of channel state information (CSI) reference signal (CSI-RS) resources with independent resource configuration are configured and associated with a CSI process, only a subset of resources that are activated by additional signaling are used for CSI measurement and reporting. The set of activated CSI-RS resources may include only a single CSI-RS resource. Both periodic and aperiodic CSI reporting may then be based on the same set of the activated CSI-RS resources. Medium access control (MAC) control elements may be used to provide activation/deactivation of the CSI-RS resources. Additionally, CSI reporting may be based on both the activated CSI-RS resources and the associated number of antenna ports.
