SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ENGAGING AN ONLINE GROUP DURING AN ENTIRE GROUP LIFECYCLE
There is provided a method for engaging an online group during an entire group lifecycle using a group activity server that is communicatively connected with user devices associated with users. The method includes (i) obtaining a first input associated with a group activity for a group from a first user device associated with a first user, (ii) obtaining a group activity tool template from a group activity tool template repository, and (iii) generating a GAT based on obtained GAT template and the first input, (iv) creating a first notification badge, and a second notification badge on the generated GAT, and (v) incorporating the generated GAT in user interfaces of the user devices associated with the members of the group to enable members of the group to participate in the generated GAT, thereby engaging the members of the group during the entire group lifecycle.

Location based content system for mobile applications
Disclosed are systems and methods for improving interactions with and between computers in content searching, hosting and/or providing systems supported by or configured with devices, servers and/or platforms. The disclosed systems and methods provide a novel framework for providing users with electronic retrieval capabilities that are activated upon the users' determined locations respective to real-world locations associated with a message providing entity. The disclosed technology combines the previously separate systems of mail extraction, geo-fencing and content delivery (e.g., notification) into a single system that efficiently manages a user's inbox in order to provide the user with content the user has expressly indicated is of interest to that user. The disclosed systems and methods effectively realize a location-aware mail experience that provides functionality for delivering location (and timing) specific content to a user when the user is actually capable of acting on/interacting with the content in real-time.
VOICE CHAT MODE SELF-ADAPTING METHOD AND APPARATUS
A voice-chat-mode self-adapting method includes: receiving a voice chat request sent by a source client on a chat interface for a voice chat with a corresponding destination client, the voice chat request including information about the corresponding destination client on the chat interface; determining whether the destination client of the voice chat request is online; when the destination client is not online, entering a voice message mode such that the source client records a voice message and sends the voice message to the destination client; when the destination client is online, entering a real-time chat mode such that the source client and the destination client perform real-time voice chat; checking in real-time an online/offline state of each client in the voice chat; and performing automatic switching between the voice message mode and the real-time chat mode according to the online/offline state of each client in the voice chat.
Secure messaging system with constrained user actions for ensured compliant transmission of medical information
Systems and methods are provided for secure messaging with constrained user actions. An example method includes causing presentation of an interactive user interface, the interactive user interface enabling messaging with end users, each end user being associated with a respective phone number. Selection of a particular end user is received via the interaction user interface and the interactive user interface is updated to include a selectable option which triggers transmission of a standardized consent message to a particular phone number associated with the particular end user. A reply message is received from the particular phone number indicating the affirmative consent. The interactive user interface is updated, with the updated interactive user interface including an input portion configured to receive arbitrary information for transmission to the particular phone number.
Methods, Systems, and Apparatus for Email to Persistent Messaging
A chat-based persistent messaging platform that can seamlessly convert messages from different modalities (e.g., email clients and text message clients) into persistent messages and vice versa is described herein. The platform can include a parsing processor to convert messages into standard format data. A message classifier can process the standard format data into different subcomponents. These subcomponents can be translated into persistent messaging content via one or more content processing engines. The persistent messaging content can be converted into a persistent message via the parsing processor. The message classifier can also add messages into a persistent thread so that message history between two or more users can be maintained in perpetuity.
PRESENTING CONTENT RECEIVED FROM THIRD-PARTY RESOURCES
Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing a program and a method for performing operations comprising: receiving, by a messaging application, a first content item generated by a first client device using a third-party resource; generating the first content item for display on a second client device together with an indication of the third-party resource used to generate the first content item; receiving, from the second client device, selection of the indication of the third-party resource; generating, for display on the second client device, a first user interface that includes a plurality of content items associated with the third-party resource and a first option to access the third-party resource, the plurality of content items including the first content item; and enabling the second client device to use the third-party resource in response to receiving selection of the first option to access the third-party resource.
SINGLE MESSAGE MANAGEMENT PLATFORM
Methods and devices related to a single message management platform are described. In an example, a method can include receiving a first message at a first processing resource via a first application, receiving a second message at the first processing resource via a second application, receiving the first message and the second message at a memory, storing the first message and the second message in the memory, receiving a command to open a single message management platform, receiving the first message and the second message at the single message management platform, and organizing the first message and the second message at the single message management platform.
USER-CONTROLLED MESSAGE REMINDERS
A computing device and computer-implemented method to provide user-control short message service (SMS). The method begins with converting by a server, one or more user preferences into each third-party specific filter for one of a plurality of third-party servers. Next, a server, accesses data using at least one of API calls, web scraping, file transfer protocol (FTP), http methods, or a combination thereof, data using the third-party specific filter in a plurality of third-party formats from the plurality of third-party servers, wherein the data in the plurality of third-party formats from the plurality of third-party servers Next, the data in the third-party format is filtered, which has been accessed according to user preferences, the user preferences including a mobile device identifier. Next, the data in the third-party format is converted which as specified by the user preferences into a format compatible with the SMS protocol or an instant message for receipt by a messaging app. Finally, the data is sent in which has been converted into the SMS format or instant message to the mobile device as specified by the mobile device identifier.
