Transitioning voice interactions

Techniques for processing a voice initiated request by a web server are presented. The techniques may include receiving, by a web server, request data representing a voice command to a user device, the request data including an identification of a requested webpage; determining, by the web server, that a response to the request data will continue a voice interaction; and providing, by the web server and to the user device, data for a voice enabled webpage associated with the requested webpage, where the data for the voice enabled webpage is configured to invoke a voice interface for the user device.

INFORMATION SECURITY SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PHISHING DOMAIN DETECTION

A system for phishing domain detection receives a communication associated with a particular domain. The system extracts a first set of features from the communication, the first set of features including a name of the sender, a name of the domain, a time of receipt, a sentiment message, and attachment file associated with the communication. The system compares the first set of features with a second set of features associated with a historical communication labeled with a phishing domain. In response to determining that the first set of features corresponds to the second set of features, the system determines that the particular domain is the phishing domain.

INFORMATION SECURITY SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING COMMUNICATIONS FROM DETECTED PHISHING DOMAINS

A system for preventing communications from detected phishing domains receives a communication associated with a particular domain. The system determines that the particular domain is a phishing domain. In response, in one embodiment, the system registers the particular domain in a Domain Name System (DNS) server to block the communication and future communications associated with the particular domain from being received at computing devices operably coupled with the DNS server. In another embodiment, the system registers the particular domain in the DNS server, such that the communication and future communications associated with the particular domain are re-routed to a particular server to monitor phishing activities implemented on the communications, where the phishing activities comprise attempting to obtain login credentials and private information associated with receivers of the communication and future communications.

MULTIPLE PROVISIONING OBJECT OPERATION

A computer-implemented method, computer-readable medium, and an apparatus operable to perform the method is provided for managing multiple provisioned domain name system (“DNS”) registry objects. The method can include receiving, at a DNS registry, a multiple domain extensible provisioning protocol (“EPP”) command from a registrar on behalf of a registrant to perform an action for each provisioned DNS registry object of the multiple provisioned DNS registry objects; comparing the action with one or more allowable actions in a policy maintained by the registry; determining, by a processor, that the action is allowable based on the comparing; and performing, based on the determining, the action on each of the provisioned DNS registry objects in one transaction.

Domain name registration and management

A method for synchronizing management of a plurality of domain names in a Domain Name System (DNS). The method comprises the following steps: receiving a request from a domain name registrant for an action as an operation on an object unique to a domain name of the DNS, the domain name having synchronized objects with another domain name being stored as a domain name bundle including the domain name in a domain name database; changing the object in the domain name database according to the action; identifying the another domain name in the domain name bundle; requesting a change to a corresponding object to the object for the another domain name with the action in order to propagate the operation performed on the object to the corresponding object, the corresponding object being unique to the another domain name; and forwarding a reported result of the action to the domain name registrant, the object and the corresponding object representing the synchronized objects by having the same parameter value, an owner to all domain names in the domain name bundle being the domain name registrant.

INLINE IDENTIFY AND BLOCK DANGLING DNS RECORDS

The present application discloses a method, system, and computer system for identifying dangling records. The method includes obtaining a set of domains, determining whether a record associated with a domain comprised in the set of domains is dangling, and in response to determining that the record associated with the domain is dangling, providing, to a registrant, a notification that the record is dangling.

Domain name operation verification code generation and/or verification

System, apparatus, methods, and computer-readable medium for generating a verification code related to a registry operation request are provided. A verification process may be performed to determine if a verification request related to a registry operation is to be approved. If the request is to be approved, a verification code is generated that includes identifying information of a verification service provider and a code indicating that the request has been verified.

Alternate character set domain name suggestion and registration using translation and/or transliteration

Some embodiments provide domain name suggestions based on a user-provided ASCII phrase translated and/or transliterated into any of a number of supported non-English language character sets. To suggest non-English-language domain names, some embodiments parse, translate, and transliterate the user-provided ASCII names into domain names that include at least one non-English language character. Moreover, some embodiments determine the DNS registration status (e.g., as a second-level domain) of the Punycode (in ASCII) corresponding to these non-English domain names and provide the user with the ability to register any that are unregistered.

Domain name processing systems and methods

Disclosed is a domain filter capable of determining an n-gram distance between a seed domain and each of a plurality of candidate domains. The domain filter loads a seed domain n-gram for the seed domain and a candidate domain n-gram for each candidate domain in memory, compares the seed domain n-gram and the candidate domain n-gram to identify any identical grams, removes any identical grams from the seed domain n-gram, and determines how many grams are left in the seed domain n-gram, representing the n-gram distance between the seed domain and the candidate domain. The domain filter then compares n-gram distances thus determined with a predetermined threshold, eliminates any candidate domain having an n-gram distance from the seed domain that exceeds the predetermined threshold, and provides remaining candidate domains to a downstream computing facility such as a user interface or an analytical module operating in an enterprise computing environment.
