Trusted communications between untrusting parties
11582209 · 2023-02-14 · ·

A system and method is disclosed for assuring that networked communications between parties playing a game on a network (e.g., the Internet) are not tampered with by either of the parties for illicitly gaining an advantage over the other party. An initial sequence of tokens (e.g., card representations) for playing the game are doubly encrypted using an encryption key from each of the parties. Accordingly, during play of the game neither party can modify the initial sequence of game tokens during the game. At termination of the game, at least one of the parties can fully decrypt the initial sequence of tokens, and thereby, if desired, compare the played token sequence with the corresponding the initial token sequence.

Embodiments include a device comprising an interface module for interfacing with proprietary legacy systems. The interface module comprises a data interface for interfacing with a processing component of the legacy system, where the processing component uses a proprietary protocol for processing data of the legacy system. The interface module includes a protocol module that comprises a protocol corresponding to the proprietary protocol of the legacy system, and the interface module uses the protocol to exchange data with the processing component. The interface module includes a communication device that communicates with a remote system via a wireless channel. The interface module controls communications that include passing commands from the remote system to the legacy system, and passing event data of the legacy system to the remote system.

System, method and application for transcoding data into media files

A data transcoding device includes a memory device for storing clear data containing private information and a processor configured as a data transcoder. The processor is configured to create packets of the clear data, prepare the packets for transcoding the clear data into an indecipherable multimedia data file appearing as noise, by determining properties of the indecipherable multimedia file based on parameters of the clear data. The processor is configured to generate the indecipherable multimedia file by transcoding the clear data based on the determined properties.

Secured communication distribution system and method

A media distribution system provides controlled distribution of media owned by various parties hosted on a local media access device. A media image communication system provides a secure method of communications between the media host and the client receiving and viewing the media. The media image communication system converts a typical text message into an image file format to prevent unauthorized access to the message, and to prevent any changes and/or manipulation of the message content.

Cryptographic data encoding method with enhanced data security

Data security and privacy are improved by a client providing a hashed version of collected data to a remote analysis service, and having the analysis service determine the relevancy of the data from the hashes before requesting the plaintext of the data. In one example, a browser plug-in obtains data which is divided into overlapping three-character sequences, and the sequences are hashed to produce a sequence of hashes. The sequence of hashes is sent by the plug-in to the remote service, which uses the hashes to determine if the associated data is relevant to the analysis performed by the remote service, without requiring access to the associated plaintext. After making the determination, the remote service may request that relevant data be provided to the service in plaintext form, while data that is not relevant need not be sent to the remote service.

Device independent encrypted content access system

Systems, devices, media, and methods are presented for retrieving authentication credentials and decryption keys to access remotely stored user-generated content. The systems and methods receive a first authentication credential and access a second authentication credential based on receiving the first authentication credential. The system and methods generate an authentication token and an encryption token. Based on the authentication token, the system and methods access a set of encrypted content and an encrypted content key. The systems and methods decrypt the encrypted content key using the encryption token and decrypt the set of encrypted content using the decrypted content key. At least a portion of the content is presented at the user device.

A system for telemedicine diagnostics through remote sensing includes a computing device configured to initiate a communication interface between the computing device and a client device operated by a human subject, wherein the secure communication interface includes an audiovisual streaming protocol, receive, from at least a remote sensor at the human subject, a plurality of current physiological data, generate a clinical measurement approximation as a function of the change of a first discrete and a second discrete set of current physiological data, wherein generating further comprises receiving approximation training data correlating physiological data with clinical measurement data, training a measurement approximation model as a function of the training data and a machine-learning process, and generating the clinical measurement approximation as a function of the current physiological data and the measurement approximation model, and presenting the clinical measurement approximation to a user of the computing device using the secure communication interface.

Method of generating a secret key for data communication and key generator thereof

A method for generating a secret key at a first node for data communication between the first node and a second node. A channel estimate of a communication channel between the first and second nodes is obtained. A time-frequency matrix associated with the communication channel is then obtained based on the time-frequency transformation of the channel estimate. The secret key is then produced based on the time-frequency matrix. Furthermore, a corresponding key generator may be provided for generating a secret key.

Electronic device and control method thereof

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a communication interface including circuitry, a memory, and a processor which, based on receiving ID information generated by performing a first encryption process on biometric information and password information generated by performing a second encryption process on the biometric information from an external electronic device through the communication interface, is configured to control the electronic device to: store the ID information and the password information in the memory. The processor, based on receiving first ID information and first password information from the external electronic device, is configured to control the electronic device to: acquire at least one candidate ID information from the memory based on the first ID information, compare password information corresponding to each of the acquired at least one candidate ID information with the first password information to identify one of the candidate ID information, and perform user authentication based on the identified candidate ID information and corresponding password information.
