Systems and methods to automatically perform actions based on media content
Systems and methods are provided for automatically responding to network connectivity issues in a media stream. One example method includes transmitting, from a first computing device, a media stream to one or more secondary computing devices. A network connectivity issue between the first computing device and one or more of the secondary computing devices is detected. If a network connectivity issue is detected, a notification is transmitted to one or more of the secondary computing devices.
CONCURRENT SERVING OF A MEDIA STREAM
Online content is served to participant devices using two or more systems. The content served by each system is not the same. Rather, the content streams coming from each system is a partial or lower-quality version of the original high-quality version of the content stream. A single one of the partial data streams can be used by the participant device to output a lower-quality version of the original content stream to the user. Alternately, the received partial content streams can be combined to output, to the user, a high-quality version of the original content stream.
FOG ENABLED TELEMETRY EMBEDDED IN REAL TIME MULTIMEDIA APPLICATIONS
Disclosed are systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for fog enabled telemetry in real time multimedia applications. An edge computing device can receive first sensor data from at least a first sensor and a collaboration data stream from a first client device. The collaboration data stream can including at least one of chat, audio or video data. The edge computing device can convert the first sensor data into a collaboration data stream format, yielding a first converted sensor data, and then embed the first converted sensor data into the collaboration data stream, yielding an embedded collaboration data stream. The edge computing device can then transmit the embedded collaboration data stream to an intended recipient.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SHARING PRESENTATION DATA AND ANNOTATION
A method and apparatus for sharing presentation data, interactions, and annotation information between devices. The method includes: converting the presentation data into at least one image; transmitting the at least one image to the second device; displaying an image from among the at least one image on a screen of the first device, and transmitting image identification information about the displayed image to the second device; adding annotation data to the displayed image, based on a user input; and transmitting annotation information about the annotation data to the second device. The second device displays an image corresponding to the image identification information on a screen of the second device based on the image identification information, and the second device displays the annotation information on the image displayed on the screen of the second device the annotation information.
PROVIDING SELECTABLE CONTENT ITEMS IN COMMUNICATIONS
Implementations relate to providing selectable content items in communications. In some implementations, a method includes determining that a user is or will be participating in a communication using a device, the communication including an exchange of information with one or more other users. The method determines a set of one or more content items to be presented on the device for selection by the user, the content items derived from stored content and being related to activity performed by the user using the device or one or more other devices, and where the activity is external to the communication. The method causes a presentation of the set of content items with the device for selection by the user, and causes at least one content item selected by the user to be sent in the communication to at least one of the other users.
MEETING COLLABORATION SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS
A method for conducting a communications session comprising: displaying, by a client device, a communications interface including a first canvas, a second canvas, and a content browser, wherein: the first canvas is arranged to display a media stream, the second canvas is arranged to display a sequence of content items provided by a communications system, and the content browser is arranged to display identifiers for one or more document files that are associated with the communications session; detecting a first input that selects a document file from the content browser; in response to the first input, transmitting, from the client device to the communications system, an instruction to provide a new sequence of content items that corresponds to the document file; and displaying the new sequence of content items in the second canvas, wherein each content item in the new sequence is generated by converting a different portion of the document file from a document format to another format, wherein at least one of the document files identified in the content browser is associated with the communications session before the communications session is started, and the content browser is displayed during the communications session.
Real time collaboration over multiple locations
Collaboration between a first computer associated with a first display at a first location and a second computer associated with a second display at a second location, includes establishing a connection between the first and second computers, starting a virtual canvas on the first computer, sending the virtual canvas from the first computer to the second computer, sending a file-based object between a host computer and a non-host computer so that the file-based object is located on the same location on the canvas for the first and second computers, streaming a live source object between a host computer running the live source object and a non-host computer by creating a live source window for the live source object within the virtual canvas on the host computer, sending the metadata information for the live source window to the non-host computer and streaming the live source object to the live source window.
VIDEO SHARING METHOD, APPARATUS, DEVICE AND MEDIUM
The present disclosure relates to a video sharing method, apparatus, device and medium. Wherein, the video sharing method is used for an electronic device of a first user, comprising: displaying a target call interface, the target call interface being used to make a real-time call between the first user and at least one second user; when a video sharing event is triggered, the target call Interface is switched to be displayed as a target sharing interface, the target sharing interface being used to display a first video shared between the first user and the at least one second user and to keep the real-time call between the first user and the at least one second user. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, it enables the first user and the second user to watch the first video synchronously, and realize sharing of the first video.
INFORMATION SWITCHING AND SHARING METHOD, DEVICE, ELECTRONIC APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An information switching and sharing method, a device, an electronic apparatus, and a storage medium are provided. The method includes: upon detecting a trigger operation of a link to a second page in a first page currently being shared, redirecting to the second page, wherein the first page is currently being displayed and sent to a client terminal of a recipient user, such that the client terminal of the recipient user displays the first page; and sharing the second page to the client terminal of the recipient user in a follow mode, such that the client terminal of the recipient user in the follow mode mirrors a display of the second page, wherein the follow mode follows a display of a current display page on a client terminal of a host sharing user.
METHOD, SYSTEM, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE RECORD MEDIUM FOR DISPLAYING REACTION DURING VOIP-BASED CALL
Disclosed is a reaction display method performed by a computer apparatus including processing circuitry, the reaction display method including displaying, by the processing circuitry, a content sharing screen with a voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) call screen during a VoIP call, the content sharing screen including shared media content, and a user of the computer apparatus participating in the VoIP call, receiving, by the processing circuitry, a position at which a reaction is input from the user during the VoIP call, sending reaction information and the position to at least one other user participating in the VoIP call, the reaction information corresponding to the reaction, and displaying an indication of the reaction on the VoIP call screen or the content sharing screen based on the position.
