SECURE COMMUNICATIONS OF STORAGE TENANTS THAT SHARE A STORAGE CLUSTER SYSTEM
One or more data packets at a storage node of a storage cluster system is received via a virtual network associated with a storage tenant. A connection between the storage tenant and a tenant communication component of the storage cluster system is terminated. A new connection is established between the tenant communication component of the storage cluster system and a destination associated with the one or more data packets. The one or more data packets are provided to the destination associated with the one or more data packets using a virtual network associated with storage nodes of the storage cluster system.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR STREAMING MEDIA CONTENT DURING UNAVAILABILITY OF CONTENT SERVER
Systems and methods are described herein for streaming during unavailability of a content server. Upon determining that there are conditions indicating buffering issues during delivery of a media asset, a server determines a first group of devices suitable for receiving the media asset from the server and sharing the media asset on a peer-to-peer network. Then, the server determines a second group of devices suitable for receiving the media asset on a peer-to-peer network from a first group device. The server then determines groupings within which to share and receive the media asset. Next, the server transmits instructions to the devices in the first group to maintain in buffer and share certain portions of the media asset with the second group devices within their grouping. Finally, the server updates information detailing the media asset portions the devices are maintaining in buffer and sharing.

Performance measurement mechanism
Techniques and structures to prevent exhaustion of a database connection pool, including receiving a plurality of events from a plurality of application servers operating as a database connection pool, categorizing each of the plurality of events, including generating a categorization message for each of the plurality events, wherein each categorization message includes one or more fields having contextual information to identify an event type to which an event is associated, analyzing the categorization messages to generate an event record; and generating a report based on the event record including one or more performance measurements to indicate an effectiveness of management of the database connection pool.
Bypassing a load balancer in a return path of network traffic
Some embodiments provide a method that allows a first data compute node (DCN) to forward outgoing traffic to a second DCN directly in spite of receiving the incoming traffic from the second DCN through a load balancer. That is, the return traffic's network path from the first DCN (e.g., a server machine) to the second DCN (e.g., a client machine) bypasses the load balancer, even though a request that initiated the return traffic is received through the load balancer. The load balancer receives a connection session request from a client machine to connect to a server. It identifies a set of parameters for the connection session and after selecting a server for the connection, passes the identified set of parameters to a host machine that executes the server. The server establishes the connection session directly with the client machine based on the identified set of parameters.
Virtual systems management
An apparatus and method for automatic configuration management of a network are provided. The apparatus and method may provide a virtualization system that has an inventory that includes physical resources and virtual assets managed by a virtualization layer running on the physical resources; wherein virtual assets are software instantiations of computer systems, receive a virtual asset provisioning request that specifies parameters to be considered for the virtual asset provisioning request and receive data on inventory available in the virtualization system. The apparatus and method may automatically provision a particular virtual asset to a particular physical resource in the virtualization system that matches the parameters in the virtual asset provisioning request, assign the provisioned virtual asset to the virtual asset provisioning request and provide user access to the provisioned virtual asset.
