Next generation fixed wireless qualification tool for speed-tier based subscription
A speed tier based pricing scheme is utilized to increase average revenue per user (ARPU) for fixed wireless applications. To offer a speed tier based pricing scheme, a radio environment at a location of Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) and/or data associated with cell sites serving the location can be analyzed to estimate a maximum data rate that can be delivered to the user CPE with a high confidence. Based on the estimated data rate, one or more speed tiers that can be offered to the customer for subscription. Further, based on an analysis of observed network usage and/or traffic demand per customer location with reference to the speed-tier classes subscribed to by existing customers, the network can efficiently plan for on-boarding new customers and/or network expansion.
IOT-CONNECTED DEVICES AND EQUIPMENT AUTOMATED LOGIN SYSTEM
A modified telecommunications system is provided herein in which UEs can be associated with a user account using information other than SIM card data or a username and password combination. For example, when a subscriber activates a user account, the subscriber may be requested to provide a signature. A signature can include a unique PIN, a sample voice command, a fingerprint, a retinal scan, and/or the like. The signature may be stored in a data store in an entry corresponding to the user account. To associate a UE with a user account, the subscriber can provide a signature via the UE. The UE can then transmit the provided signature and a UE address to a management system. The management system can then store the UE address in the data store in an entry associated with the user account that corresponds with the provided signature.
Establishing telephone calls
A method for establishing a telephone call between an originating device and a destination device. A call server receives an originating call made by an originating device to a dedicated number for a destination party. In response to receiving the originating call: (i) the originating call is parked; and (ii) a message is sent to the destination device of the destination party. The message informs the destination device of the originating call to the dedicated number so that the destination device is able to call the call server to be connected to the parked originating call.

System and method for account level maximum bit rate enforcement
A network device enables account-level data speed enforcement over a wireless core network. The network device obtains an account identifier for a user device requesting a session, wherein the account identifier applies to multiple user devices. The network device stores the account identifier associated with a user device identifier for the user device and an access point name (APN) identifier for the session. The network device associates the account identifier with an account aggregate maximum bit rate (AMBR) value and stores, in a memory, an entry including the account identifier, the user device identifier, and the APN identifier. The network device calculates, a per-APN AMBR value for the session, wherein the per-APN AMBR value includes a portion of the account AMBR value, and sends, to a packet data network (PDN) gateway (PGW) device, the per-APN AMBR value for the session requested by the user device.
Device Assisted CDR Creation, Aggregation, Mediation and Billing
Device assisted CDR creation, aggregation, mediation and billing is provided. In some embodiments, device assisted CDR creation, aggregation, mediation and billing for a wireless network includes collecting device generated service usage information for one or more devices in wireless communication on the wireless network; and providing the device generated service usage information in a syntax (e.g., a device assisted charging data record (CDR)) and a communication protocol (e.g., 3GPP, 3GPP2, or other communication protocols) that can be used by other network devices to augment or replace network generated service usage information for the one or more devices in wireless communication on the wireless network.
System and method for determining and associating tariff rates for institutional calls
A telecommunications method for call forwarding including storing information regarding a called party in at least one local database, where the information regarding the called party is stored in a user account and making a telephone call by dialing a telephone number with a telephone, where the telephone is contained in a telephone management system. The method also includes determining whether the telephone number is associated with the user account and transferring, via the switchboard, the call to the called party if the telephone number is associated with the user account, where the telephone management system is in communication with a revenue management system, and also where the revenue management system contains at least one local database.
