A system and method for use with an assisted user's communication device that includes a display. The method includes providing a user communication device including a processor that is programmed to perform the step of, upon disconnection of an emergency call to a hearing user in which a captioning service has provided text transcription of voice messages from the hearing user, maintaining a link to the captioning service for a predetermined period of time. The processor also is programmed to perform the step of recognizing the call as an emergency call upon placement of the call, and the captioning service is automatically initiated upon the processor performing that recognition.

A communication system includes a management system connected to plural mobile communication terminals through wireless communication and configured to broadcast utterance voice data received from one of the mobile communication terminals to the other mobile communication terminals, to chronologically accumulate the result of utterance voice recognition from voice recognition processing on the received utterance voice data as a user-to-user communication history, and to control text delivery such that the communication history is displayed on the mobile communication terminals in synchronization. A method includes connecting a call from a client device to a destination having an interactive voice response service; transcribing audio from the destination during the call to identify menu options of the interactive voice response service; generating visualizations representing the menu options; and outputting the visualizations to a display associated with the client device. A system includes a telephony system, an automatic speech recognition processing tool, and a visualization output generation tool. The telephony system connects a call from a client device to a destination having an interactive voice response service. The automatic speech recognition processing tool transcribes audio from the destination during the call to identify menu options of the interactive voice response service. The visualization output generation tool generates visualizations representing the menu options. The telephony system outputs the visualizations to a display associated with the client device.

An assisted user's (AU's) captioning device for assisting an AU during a call with a hearing user (HU) wherein the hearing user uses a HU's communication device, the captioning device comprising a display screen and a processor linked to the display screen, the processor programmed to perform the steps of upon receiving a call, automatically determining if the call is from one of a first set of HUs, upon determining that the call is from one of the first set of HUs, automatically initiating captioning and presenting captions of an HU voice signal during at least a portion of the call, and upon determining that the call is not from one of the first set of HUs, starting the call without captioning and providing an option to the AU to initiate captioning during the call.

The method includes: detecting an incoming phone call; automatically answering the phone call; determining that in at least one pre-stored event, there is an event matching a telephone number of the phone call, where the event includes: at least one of content of the event, a starting time of the event, or a location of the event, contact information of a participant, and permission of the participant; and the contact information of participant includes a telephone number; obtaining and parsing audio content of the phone call; and automatically answering the telephone call according to the audio content and permission that corresponds to the telephone number of the phone call. The method provided in this application has an advantage of effective privacy protection.

The method includes synching the replacement video to the original video based on a position, a size and a rotation between the original head in the original video and a replacement head in the replacement video, wherein the synching generates a synched video which synchs the replacement head to the original head based on the position, the size and the rotation.
