Techniques are described herein for network sliced based billing. In one example, a control center obtains, from a charging system, a charging data record that includes an indication of a network slice associated with a chargeable telecommunications event. Based on the indication of the network slice, the control center identifies a charging rate for the chargeable telecommunications event and applies the charging rate to the chargeable telecommunications event.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SWITCHING ZERO CHARGE CALLERS
Asynchronous and/or synchronous zero charge telephony protocol systems and methods may include an asynchronous signaling switch and/or a call duration time quota from a synchronous charging onset to place and complete a call. A call request is received with a second device mobile address. The asynchronous systems include instructions to automatically modify the mobile address with a routing prefix when the first device has insufficient balance or independent of balance, route to the asynchronous signaling switch based on an associated modified address trunk path, revert to the call signal at the asynchronous signaling switch, and deliver and automatically disconnect the call immediately when the call is completed. The synchronous systems include instructions to automatically set the call duration time quota upon insufficient balance, and deliver and automatically disconnect the call from the second user mobile device when the call is completed and the call duration time quota is exceeded.

The application is: a glanceable application showing the data or settings in a summary visual fashion; or a full application showing the data or settings in a detailed fashion.
Technique for managing a right of access to a network for a communicating device
The invention relates to a technique for managing a right of access to a network for a communicating device (20). The communicating device detects a connection to a charging unit (10) and transmits a charging request to a processing device (30). This charging request comprises an estimate of a requested amount of energy and a battery identifier. On receiving charging agreement, the communicating device supplies the battery identified by the charging unit with power according to the agreed amount of energy. The right of access of the communicating device to the network is extended in the network according to the agreed amount of energy.

A method for location-dependent billing for a services that are available to a mobile terminal, a local communication connection is set up to a fixably installed external location tag with a corresponding wireless interface between the fixably installed tag and the mobile terminal, the method including the steps of accessing the external location tag and transmitting a billing rate code from the external location tag to the mobile terminal, forwarding the billing rate code from the mobile terminal to a central unit of a mobile communication network, in which the mobile terminal is logged, determining a geographic location identification of the external location tag by evaluation of the billing rate code at the central unit, and selecting a billing rate for billing for the service available to the user based on the billing rate code at the central unit.
Identification of 5G Non-Standalone Architecture traffic on the S1 interface
Systems and methods include obtaining monitored traffic from an S1 interface; detecting a Secondary Radio Access Technology (RAT) Data Usage Report (DUR) in the monitored traffic; determining whether the Secondary RAT DUR relates to a 5G Non-Standard Architecture (NSA), and, if so, determining an address of a gNodeB in the Secondary RAT DUR; and storing the address of the gNodeB in a database. The systems and methods can include, for a call, updating a Call Detail Record (CDR) to reflect one of 5G NSA and 4G based on whether an address in the CDR is in the database.

An improved handheld electronic device and an associated method provide an improved call log that presents information relating to logged phone calls in a collapsed manner, meaning that for each phone number having a call stored in the memory of the device, only the most recent in time call is listed on the call log. An improved handheld electronic device and an associated method also provide a call history for any phone call from the improved call log that is selected by the user. The call history includes a listing of all of the calls stored by the device that are associated with the selected call log call.

A method includes: receiving, by a network data analytics function entity, a first message that is sent by an application function entity and that includes a measurement event and an identity ID of an application; obtaining a first measurement parameter based on the measurement event; receiving, by the network data analytics function entity, a notification message that is sent by a terminal and that is used to indicate the network data analytics function entity to perform data collection on the application; sending a second message including the ID of the application and the first measurement parameter to a policy control function entity, and requesting the policy control function entity to send the second measurement parameter to the terminal.
