Captioning communication systems
A method to generate a contact list may include receiving an identifier of a first communication device at a captioning system. The first communication device may be configured to provide first audio data to a second communication device. The second communication device may be configured to receive first text data of the first audio data from the captioning system. The method may further include receiving and storing contact data from each of multiple communication devices at the captioning system. The method may further include selecting the contact data from the multiple communication devices that include the identifier of the first communication device as selected contact data and generating a contact list based on the selected contact data. The method may also include sending the contact list to the first communication device to provide the contact list as contacts for presentation on an electronic display of the first communication device.
Video adaptation method, related device, and storage medium
Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a video adaptation method, a related device, and a related storage medium. The method in the embodiments of the present disclosure includes: receiving indication information sent by a video receiving device, where the indication information is used to indicate an image super-resolution capability of the video receiving device; and if the indication information indicates that the image super-resolution capability of the video receiving device is enabled, obtaining a video having a target frame rate and a target resolution that correspond to the indication information and sending the video having the target frame rate and the target resolution to the video receiving device.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING DIGITAL HEALTH SERVICES
The present disclosure is directed to providing digital health services. In some embodiments, systems and methods for conducting virtual or remote sessions between patients and clinicians are disclosed. During the sessions, media content (e.g., images, video content, audio content, etc.) may be captured as the patient performs one or more tasks. The media content may be presented to the clinician and used to evaluate a condition of the patient or a state of the condition, adjust treatment parameters, provide therapy, or other operations to treat the patient. The analysis of the media content may be aided by one or more machine learning/artificial intelligence models that analyze various aspects of the media content, augment the media content, or other functionality to aid in the treatment of the patient.
System and method for providing additional functionality to existing software in an integrated manner
An improved system and method are disclosed for improving functionality in software applications. In one example, the method includes a computing entity having a network interface, a processor, and a memory configured to store a plurality of instructions. The instructions include instructions for a superblock application having instructions for a function block included therein. The function block is configured to provide functions that are accessible to the superblock application via an application programming interface (API). The functions are provided within the superblock application itself and are accessible within the superblock application without switching context to another application on the computing entity.
TELEVISION RECEIVER WITH A TV PHONE FUNCTION
A videophone system includes a processor which selectively sets a television (TV) broadcast program viewing function mode and videophone function mode in response to manual operation of a remote control, a decoder which performs, in the TV program view mode, a TV program-use decode function for decoding a broadcast program signal received from a TV tuner to thereby display it on a display screen while producing audio sounds by loudspeakers and which performs, in the videophone function mode a videophone-use decode function for decoding a videophone signal received from a distant party to thereby display on the screen an image of the distant party using the screen and speakers, and an encoder which performs a videophone-use encode function for encoding a video signal from a camera and a voice signal from a microphone to generate a videophone signal, which is sent to the distant party via a network.
MULTI-MODAL APPROACH TO A SECURE AND CLOSED SOLUTION FOR PROVIDING SCHEDULED NOTIFICATIONS
A multi-modal portal system provides an authorization prior to establishing a visual interface connection between a support user or caller and a client user or receiving party. Once the caller is authorized, the caller is permitted to drop-in such that a visual interface connection is established with the receiving party. The authorization can be based on a profile configuration that indicates whether the caller has the credentials required for the visual interface. The authorization can require that a notification be sent to a trusted user or primary contact or the caller can be associated with a profile configuration that allows for a pre-authorization without requiring the notification. Also, a schedule associated with the profile configuration can ensure a video notification of one or more scheduling parameters to the client user as well as the receipt of a video response from the client user.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
An information processing apparatus is communicable with a first user terminal operated by a first user and a second user terminal operated by a second user. The information processing apparatus includes circuitry. The circuitry generates distribution data according to which the first user terminal displays a first captured image and a second captured image, the first captured image being an image captured by a first image capturing device in a photographing direction selected by the first user, the second captured image being an image captured by a second image capturing device in a photographing direction of the second user. The circuitry transmits the generated distribution data to the first user terminal. The circuitry provides a bidirectional communication function to the first user terminal and the second user terminal.
Systems and methods for creating and presenting virtual events
Systems, programs, and media for creating virtual events and presenting the virtual event content to attendees of the virtual events are described herein. A virtual event hosting system may receive input from an event creator for creating an event comprising stages, sessions, networking, and expos. The event may provide a virtual environment for presenting users to make presentations and attendees to view and interact with the presenting users and other attendees. Data associated with the event and the attendees may be collected for analysis to improve engagement in future virtual events.
Head-worn wearable devices for automatically ceasing the capture of video data, and methods of use thereof
Systems and methods are provided for determining when to cease capturing video via a head-worn wearable device. The method includes capturing, via a head-worn wearable device that includes a camera, video data. The method further includes, while capturing the video data, monitoring sensor data indicating one or both of (i) a position of the head-worn wearable device and (ii) a position of a wrist-wearable device that is communicatively coupled with the head-worn device to determine when to cease capturing the video data. The method further includes, in accordance with a determination that at least some of the sensor data indicates that one or both of (i) a video-capturing precondition is not present at the head-worn wearable device and (ii) a video-viewing precondition is present at the wrist-wearable device, ceasing to capture the video data and causing the video data to be displayed on a display of the wrist-wearable device.
