Virtual image projection device
There is provided a highly efficient virtual image projection device in a small size that displays images of high luminance in which an illumination system is reduced in size with no degradation in an effective luminous light beam. A virtual image projection device that shows video to a human eye includes a virtual light source surface (116) that emits a light beam in a predetermined angular distribution, an image forming lens (117) that condenses the light beam from the virtual light source surface (116), and a display (120) that creates video. When the virtual light source surface (116) is disposed at a nearly focal position on the front side of the image forming lens (117), the display (120) is disposed at a nearly focal position on the rear side of the image forming lens.
Electro-optical device and electronic device
An electro-optical device includes a scanning line extending along a first direction and having a light shielding property, a transistor having a semiconductor layer extending along the first direction so as to overlap with the scanning line, a contact hole electrically coupled to the scanning line at a side of a channel region of the semiconductor layer, and an opening provided at a side of a first LDD region and a second LDD region of the semiconductor layer.
Projection apparatus
An object of the present invention is to provide a projection apparatus capable of appropriately performing control relating to a rotation state and/or a movement state of a projection lens. A projection apparatus according to an aspect of the present invention includes a housing; a light source; a control unit; and a projection lens attached to the housing, the projection lens having a holder, a detection unit that detects a rotation state of the holder, an emission optical system, and a locking mechanism unit that brings rotation of the holder into a locked state or an unlocked state. The projection lens is displaceable between a first position at which a rotation state of the holder is a housed state in which the emission optical system faces the housing and a second position at which the emission optical system does not face the housing by rotating the holder. The second position includes an upper position at which the emission optical system faces an upper side in a vertical direction. The control unit turns off the light source when a rotation state of the holder is the first position. The control unit turns on the light source when the rotation state of the holder is at the upper position. When the light source is turned on in the housed state in which the emission optical system faces the housing, the light emitted from the emission optical system hits the housing, and the temperatures of the projection lens and the housing may increase, which may cause an adverse effect. However, when the rotation state is the housed state, the control unit turns off the light source, thereby preventing the adverse effect.
Image display apparatus
An image display apparatus (100) according to the present invention includes a display unit and a projection unit. The display unit includes a curved first screen (43) and a curved second screen (44), the first screen extending along a predetermined axis (1), the curved screen having transparency and being disposed on a front side of the first screen (43) with a gap interposed therebetween. The projection unit includes an emitter (11) that emits light for displaying a first image from a region on the predetermined axis (1) and a second image superimposed on the first image, projects the first image onto the first screen (43), and projects the second image onto the second screen (44).
Service robot and method for operating thereof
A service robot for guiding and describing a displayed vehicle and a method for operating the robot, may include a projector for projecting visual information related to a target vehicle; monitoring means for monitoring a state of a user; and a controller configured to: suggest, to the user, presentation of visual information in conjunction with a guide description of the target vehicle; determine, via the monitoring means, whether the user has accepted the suggestion; and upon determination that the user has accepted the suggestion, present the visual information via the projector.
Method for controlling display apparatus, display apparatus, and method for controlling display system
A method for controlling a display apparatus that displays an image based on an image signal supplied from an image supply apparatus that transitions to a first sleep mode in accordance with a situation in which a no-operation state lasts for a first period, the method including storing second information representing a second period, causing the display apparatus to transition to a second sleep mode in accordance with a situation in which the image signal is not supplied continuously for the second period, receiving first information representing the first period from the image supply apparatus, and setting the second information in such a way that the second period is shorter than a reference period in accordance with the first information.
Image projection device
An image projection device which can correctly discern content of touch operation when a user performs various kinds of touch operation on an image projected on a projection screen is provided. An imaging unit is adjusted to come into focus on the projection screen. An image data extracting unit extracts image data in which a finger or the like exists and in which the finger or the like is brought into focus in image data obtained by the imaging unit. An operation determining unit determines content of operation performed with the finger or the like, on the basis of the image data extracted by the image data extracting unit. An input control unit recognizes content of an input instruction corresponding to the operation performed with the finger or the like, on the basis of data relating to the content of the operation performed with the finger or the like, position data of the finger or the like, and reference data for specifying a position and a size of the image projected on the projection screen, and controls a projection unit in accordance with the recognized content of the input instruction.
Light bulb image projector
The light bulb image projector is a projector. The light bulb image projector is electrically powered. The light bulb image projector is configured for use as a substitute for a light bulb in a lamp. The light bulb image projector replaces the light bulb in the lamp. The light bulb image projector screws into the lamp using an Edison screw. The light bulb image projector draws electric energy from the Edison screw. The light bulb image projector incorporates a bulb structure, a projector circuit, and a personal data device. The projector circuit mounts in the bulb structure. The personal data device controls the operation of the projector circuit.
PROJECTOR AND PROJECTION SYSTEM
A projector and a projection system are provided. The projection system includes the projector and a mobile device. The projector receives an audio-visual signal coming from the mobile device via a default wireless domain when the projector is connected to the mobile device, and outputs an image according to the audio-visual signal. The projector also charges the mobile device.
