Method and device in UE and base station used for channel coding

The present disclosure discloses a method and a device in a User and a base station used for channel coding. A first node determines a first bit block; performs channel coding; and transmits a first radio signal. Bits in the first bit block are used to generate bits in a second bit block. The bits in the first bit block and in the second bit block are used for an input to the channel coding, an output after the channel coding is used to generate the first radio signal. Channel coding is based on a polar code. A sub-channel occupied by a target first type bit is related to the number of bits in the second bit block related to the target first type bit. The target first type bit belongs to the first bit block. The disclosure can improve decoding performance of polar codes and reduce complexity of decoding.

Methods and apparatus for communicating and utilizing persistent allocation of resources are described herein. A base station may allocate persistent resources to a client station, and may associate the client station or persistent resource allocation with a particular shared NACK channel. The base station may monitor the NACK channel for a NACK indicating a map error. The base station may monitor the resource allocation to implicitly determine a map error. The base station may resend one or more persistent resource allocation information elements in response to the NACK or implicit error determination. A client station having a persistent resource allocation may monitor persistent resource allocation information elements in map messages and/or may indicate failure to receive a persistent resource allocation information element in a NACK message on a shared NACK channel.

A method for downlink bandwidth part (BWP) activating and deactivating and a terminal device are provided. The method comprises: the terminal device performs, based on control of a network side, activation and deactivation to at least one downlink BWP configured on a carrier.

Probabilistic amplitude shaping

This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for encoding data for wireless communication to achieve a desired amplitude distribution. Some implementations more specifically relate to performing an encoding operation to shape the amplitudes of the resultant symbols such that the amplitudes have a non-uniform distribution. In some implementations of the non-uniform distribution, the probabilities associated with the respective amplitudes generally increase with decreasing amplitude. Some implementations enable the tracking of MPDU boundaries to facilitate successful decoding by a receiving device. Additionally or alternatively, some implementations enable the determination of a packet length after performing the amplitude shaping, which enables a transmitting device to determine the number of padding bits to add to the payload and to signal the packet length to a receiving device so that the receiving device may determine the duration of the packet.

Dynamic spectrum sharing with spatial division multiplexing

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station to communicate with a set of user equipments (UEs) in a spatial division multiplexing (SDM) configuration for dynamic spectrum sharing (DSS) communications. One or more first UEs of the set of UEs may communicate via a first radio access technology (RAT), and one or more second UEs may communicate via a second RAT in a multiple-user multiple-input multiple output (MU-MIMO) configuration. The base station may indicate the SDM configuration to one or more of the set of UEs. In some examples, the base station may transmit an indication to the set of UEs which may indicate a set of resources to be used for DSS communications. In some examples, the SDM configuration may specify one or more reference signal patterns for communicating in the set of resources.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, control signaling indicating a capability of the UE to apply an amplitude control procedure to one or more antenna elements for beamforming and indicating that the UE is applying the amplitude control procedure. The UE may receive a control message scheduling transmission of an uplink message. The UE may generate a signal including the uplink message using the amplitude control procedure, which may adjust one or more amplitudes of the signal. The UE may transmit the signal via the one or more antenna elements. In some cases, UE may indicate an amount of power loss in the signal based on the amplitude control procedure, and the base station may transmit downlink transmissions using a lower order modulation and coding scheme or an applied power boost to compensate for the power loss.
