A configuration information indication method and apparatus, applicable to systems such as a vehicle to everything V2X communication system and a vehicle-to-vehicle V2V communication system, to resolve a problem that SL transmission causes interference to DL transmission due to relatively poor indication accuracy of UL transmission time in the conventional technology. The method includes: receiving an uplink-downlink time division duplex TDD configuration from a network device; determining, based on first periodicity information included in the uplink-downlink TDD configuration, a first subcarrier spacing SCS corresponding to the first periodicity information, where the first SCS is used to indicate a sidelink SL reference SCS; and sending indication information to a second terminal device based on the uplink-downlink TDD configuration and the first SCS, where the indication information is used to indicate uplink UL transmission time corresponding to the first periodicity information.

The method additionally includes sending, by the first terminal device, sidelink control information and data on the sidelink sending resource.

INTER-USER EQUIPMENT COORDINATION CONFLICT INDICATION FOR HALF-DUPLEX CONSTRAINT

A user equipment (UE) may sense a first transmission by a first sidelink UE and a second transmission by a second sidelink UE and send a conflict indication to at least one of the first or second sidelink UEs in response to identifying a collision between the first and second transmissions, or identifying a prospective collision based on a prospective use of respective first and second resources identified in the respective first and second transmissions. A collision or prospective collision may be detected by detecting a complete or partial overlap of the first and second transmissions or of the prospective first and second resources identified in the transmissions, or by determining that any portions of the first resource and the second resource prospectively occupy a slot common to the first and second resources, and the first sidelink UE and the second sidelink UE prospectively operate in a half-duplex mode.

Methods and apparatuses for channel occupancy sharing with a sidelink in a wireless communication system. A method of a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a base station (BS), a set of configurations, determining a channel occupancy initiated by the BS based on the set of configurations, determining a set of resources for a first sidelink transmission within the channel occupancy based on the set of configurations, and determining a sidelink channel access procedure associated with the first sidelink transmission based on the set of configurations. The method further includes performing the sidelink channel access procedure and transmitting, to at least one other UE, the first sidelink transmission within the channel occupancy upon successfully performing the sidelink channel access procedure.

UPLINK REFERENCE SIGNAL BUNDLING TECHNIQUES IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a user equipment (UE) may perform uplink reference signal bundling for access link communications and transmit sidelink communications using time or frequency division multiplexed resources. The UE may determine to drop or to transmit a sidelink communication based on a relationship with multiple instances of an uplink reference signal that are to maintain phase continuity. The UE may drop a sidelink communication when a time duration between two instances of the uplink reference signal is less than or equal to a time threshold value, and may transmit the sidelink communication when the time duration exceeds the time threshold value. In frequency division multiplexed cases, the UE may set a transmission power for each instance of the uplink reference signal, and the sidelink communication may use a remaining amount of power.

PRIORITIZED CHANNEL ACCESS FOR SIDELINK COMMUNICATION IN SHARED CHANNEL

A user equipment (UE) communicates on a shared channel using sidelink transmissions. The UE determines a channel access priority for the sidelink transmission based on a channel access priority for the UE, a channel access priority associated with a packet priority of the sidelink transmission, a congestion level for the channel, or a remaining time in a packet delay budget of the sidelink transmission. The UE performs a channel access procedure based on the channel access priority for the sidelink transmission to assess that the channel is clear prior to transmitting the sidelink transmission, and transmits the sidelink transmission on the channel.
