Narrowband Reference Signal Transmission On Non-Anchor Carriers In NB-IoT
Various examples and schemes pertaining to narrowband reference signal (NRS) transmission on non-anchor carriers in narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) are described. A wireless network indicates a subset of one or more paging groups of user equipment (UEs) among a plurality of UEs in an NB-IoT cell. The wireless network then transmits one or more narrowband reference signals (NRSs) in one or more paging frames or one or more paging occasions associated with the subset of one or more paging groups.
SENDING NOTIFICATIONS TO MOBILE DEVICES OVER PAGING NETWORKS
A notification system that provides a notification to a mobile device over a pager network is described. In some embodiments, the system receives, at an interface device associated with the mobile device, a notification from a server over a radiofrequency communications network, and transmits the notification from the interface device to the mobile device over a short area communications channel, such as a Bluetooth channel.
ENHANCED PAGER NETWORK
Example embodiments involve an enhanced paging system, executed through novel hardware components, to facilitate a client device to pass incoming messages off, through Wi-Fi or cellular data, to a central server. This central server handles a response request, and sends the message to a corresponding pager address found within a pager network, allowing a closed loop two-way communication handled through a graphical user interface which may be displayed at the client device.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR GENERATING ONE OR MORE SERVICE SET IDENTIFIER (SSID) COMMUNICATION SIGNALS
The present invention discloses methods and systems for generating one or more service set identifier (SSID) communication signals. In particular, the present invention discloses an electronic wearable device. The electronic wearable device includes a generator circuit and a transmitter unit. The generator circuit is configured to generate one or more service set identifier (SSID) communication signals. The transmitter unit includes one or more transmitters, the one or more transmitters are configured to transmit the one or more service set identifier (SSID) communication signals to one or more receiving devices simultaneously. The electronic wearable device is configured to support one-way transmission of the one or more service set identifier (SSID) communication signals for control purposes.
Extended time reference generation
As one example, a system includes a first timestamp generator to provide a first timestamp in response to at least one input clock signal. The first timestamp may be derived based on a global time base and have a resolution that resides within a first range of values corresponding to a first time range. A second timestamp generator provides a second timestamp in response to the at least one input clock signal. The second timestamp may be derived based on a second time base and have a resolution that resides within a second range of values complementary to the first timestamp and corresponding to a second time range that is greater than the first time range. A combiner combines the first and second timestamps to provide a reference timestamp having a value over an extended range of continuous time values.
Method and apparatus for efficient and deterministic group alerting
Systems and methods are provided for reliable, wireless group messaging or alerting in a system having a database, switch, wireless network, and a plurality of intelligent mobile receivers. A message is broadcast to and received by a selected group of the mobile receivers. The network replies to the sender with detailed information about the individual members in the group. Each of the mobile receivers in the group can acknowledge the group message back to the system such as when the message is received, when the message is read, and a response when sent. The system employs centralized management to provide the sender with response information of the mobile receivers.

Method and apparatus for monitoring PDCCH, and base station and user equipment
Provided are a method and apparatus for monitoring a PDCCH, and a base station and a user equipment. On a base station side, the method comprises: configuring an association relationship between a notification signal or signaling and a PDCCH; and sending the notification signal or signaling associated with the PDCCH to a user equipment to notify the user equipment to start monitoring the PDCCH. On a user equipment side, the method comprises: receiving a notification signal or signaling which is associated with a PDCCH and sent by a base station; and starting to monitor the PDCCH according to the notification signal or signaling associated with the PDCCH. By means of the present invention, the signaling overhead and the power consumption of a user equipment can be reduced.
