PLASMA TREATMENT ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR ADAPTING THE SIZE OF A SUPPORT AREA OF THE PLASMA TREATMENT ARRANGEMENT TO THE SIZE OF THE SURFACE TO BE TREATED
In a plasma treatment arrangement for carrying out dielectrically impeded plasma discharge onto a surface to be treated having a flat electrode unit (4) which has a treatment side, and a control unit (11) which supplies at least one electrode (19) of the electrode unit (4) with a high-voltage AC potential for a power which is required for plasma generation between the at least one electrode (19) and a counterelectrode which forms a reference potential, wherein the at least one electrode (19) which receives the high-voltage AC potential is shielded with a flat dielectric (7), at least on the treatment side, and wherein the flat electrode unit is designed to reduce the size of its support area on the surface to be treated for the purpose of adaptation to the size of the surface to be treated, the adaptation of the support area of the flat electrode unit (4) becomes possible in an unproblematical manner on account of the control unit (11) having a device (14) for determining the size of the adapted support area and a control device for adjusting the power to be output to the at least one electrode (19) in accordance with the determined size of the support area.
PLASMA DEVICE
A plasma device applies cold atmospheric plasma to a surface to be treated, in particular to textiles, leather and/or plastic fibers. An actuator activates a plasma source, provided that a distance between the plasma source and the surface to be treated is less than a predetermined distance. The actuator has an adjustable and pre-loaded actuator element with at least one activation element and has a recording apparatus that records the position of the actuator element at least when the distance between the plasma source and the surface to be treated is less than the predetermined distance. The plasma device makes it possible to avoid risks owing to incorrect operation by the client and to avoid emissions, since the plasma source is activated only when the distance from the item to be treated (e.g., clothing to be cleaned) is less than the predetermined threshold distance.
Plasma treatment unit
A plasma treatment unit having a high-voltage stage (5, 6), arranged in a housing, for generating high-voltage signals suitable for the generation of a plasma, and having a head part (2) which is connectable to the high-voltage stage (5, 6) and in which there is situated an electrode arrangement (13) shielded by a dielectric (9), is suitable for plasma treatments in particular in the body interior by virtue of the fact that the head part (2) has an elongate transition piece (10) which is attachable to the housing and on that end of which which is not connectable to the housing there is arranged a treatment head (16, 16′), the dimensions of which perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the transition piece (10) greatly exceed the dimensions of the transition piece (10), and that, in the treatment head (16, 16′), the electrode arrangement (13) forms a spatially closed flexible sheath (12) around a resiliently elastic core (14) and is covered at its outer lateral surface by a thin layer (15) of the flexible dielectric (9), such that the treatment head (16, 16′) can, as it is inserted into a body interior, assume the shape of the surrounding tissue in the body interior.

In an embodiment a device includes a first housing, in which a piezoelectric transformer is arranged and a second housing, in which a control circuit is arranged, the control circuit configured to apply an input voltage to the piezoelectric transformer, wherein the first housing comprises a coating configured to eradicate irritant gases.
Flat flexible support piece for a dielectrically impeded plasma treatment
In the case of a flat flexible support piece comprising an electrode arrangement, to which a high voltage can be supplied, for a dielectrically impeded plasma treatment of a surface to be treated, wherein the electrode arrangement has at least one flat electrode (3) and a dielectric layer (2) which has a support face for the surface to be treated and which is composed of flat flexible material and which electrically shields the at least one electrode (3) from the surface to be treated such that only a dielectrically impeded current flow between the at least one electrode (3) and the surface to be treated is possible when a plasma field is produced by the bias on the electrode (3) in a gas space between the electrode arrangement and the surface to be treated, simplified handling and increased safety are achieved in that the support piece has a high-voltage stage (14) for generating a high voltage, the output of said high-voltage stage being connected to the at least one electrode (3) by a connecting piece (17, 17′) on the support piece.
CONTINUOUS WOUND DRESSING WITH PLASMA ELECTRODE
The invention relates to a treatment device for dielectric harrier discharge plasma treatment of a wound surface or skin surface, having: a flexible, planar electrode assembly with at least one planar electrode (6, 6′) and a dielectric layer (5) which at least partially embeds the at least one electrode (6, 6′), has a contact side (7) facing the wound surface or skin surface and electrically shields the planar electrode (6, 6′) from the wound surface or skin surface such that only a dielectric barrier current can flow from the electrode (6, 6′) to the wound surface or skin surface; and a control device (2) which has a separate housing (25) and via which the electrode (6, 6′) can he connected to an operating voltage. The treatment device allows simpler wound treatment in that the assembly of electrode (6, 6′) and dielectric layer (5) is designed for uninterrupted contact with the wound surface or skin surface and that the housing (25) of the control device (2) can be fastened with a fastening device (3, 3′) to the body having the wound surface or skin surface.
PLASMA APPLICATOR
An electrotechnical core for generating a cold atmospheric pressure or low-pressure plasma for the treatment of human, animal, or technical surfaces. The core has a side facing the surface and a side facing away from the surface and comprises the following layers, starting from the side facing the surface: a first insulation layer, a first electrode structure with a first contact between the first electrode structure and a power supply unit, a second insulation layer to galvanically isolate the first electrode structure and a second electrode structure from one another, wherein the second electrode structure is driven during operation by a voltage signal sufficient to ignite a plasma, a third insulation layer to galvanically isolate the second electrode structure from a third electrode structure, wherein the third electrode structure grounds the third electrode structure during operation.
Device for treating skin using non-thermal plasma
The present application relates to a device for treating skin using non-thermal plasma. It comprises a housing having a skin interface electrode for application to skin during treatment, a generator for generating non-thermal plasma at the skin interface electrode; and an isolating element to isolate a region surrounding said skin interface electrode other than during treatment so that non-thermal plasma generated at the skin interface electrode within said region sterilises the skin interface electrode.
