BUSBAR ASSEMBLY FOR CURRENT SENSING
A busbar assembly includes a base having a width and a length. The base has a first surface and a second surface and has a first side and a second side. A distance between the first side and the second side comprises the width, and the base defines a slot centered between approximately 75% and approximately 79% of the width.
DIRECT DATA BUS BETWEEN MODULAR DEVICES
Systems and methods for establishing a direct communication between modular electronic devices comprise a connector assembly implemented in a first modular device and having a connector that is implemented in a housing. The housing holding the connector may use a spring to mate with a receptacle of a second modular device, e.g., a module in a chassis in a data center, to establish a releasable direct connection without utilizing a backplane.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR FOR A CONTROLLER
An electronic device including a plurality of ports for electrically connecting the device to another device. The electronic device may include a housing including a front, a back and at least a first side and an opposing second side extending between the front and the back, a printed circuit board housed by the housing, and an electrical connector electrically connected to the printed circuit board. The electrical connector may include a first spring contact, a second spring contact, and an electrically conductive bridge mechanically and electrically connecting the first spring contact and the second spring contact. The electrically conductive bridge may be housed by the housing. The first and second spring contacts may extend outside of the housing and may be accessible from the first and second sides of the housing, respectively.
Modular electrical bus system
A modular electrical bus system for a valve manifold has a main communication module with a plurality of modular I/O units each having a plurality of I/O fittings being both electrically and mechanically connectable together via a bridge member connecting adjacent units and the main communication module. At least one of the modular I/O units is also mechanically separable from and maintains communication connection to the main communication module. One or both of the modular .[.IO.]. .Iadd.I/O .Iaddend.units and main communication module may have an alpha-numeric display.
Modular interface system for connecting a control device and field devices
A modular interface system having a modular SPE-based bus system with an SPE-based twin-core line and a plurality of SPE-based connectors, wherein a plurality of modules, each of which has an SPE-based connector, can be electrically and mechanically coupled to the SPE-based bus system by means of the SPE-based connectors.
Modular electrical control system
A modular electrical control system includes a switch module, having at least an on state and an off state, configured to draw power from an AC power source and to control power delivery to at least one external load, the switch module including a detector that determines whether a neutral wire is connected to the switch module, and a removable user interface module configured to connect to the switch module and receive power from the switch module, wherein the switch module delivers a first amount of power to the user interface module when the detector determines that the neutral wire is connected to the switch module, and delivers a second amount of power to the user interface module lower than the first amount of power when the detector determines that the neutral wire is not connected to the switch module.
Selector for field devices
A selector is provided for configuring field devices in a control system. A set of pins is connected to the field device. The field device configuration can be changed by interconnecting different pins in the pin set. Multiple pin selectors are provided with different arrangements of connectors for interconnecting the pins. Thus, the field device may be easily configured by connecting a particular pin selector onto the pins that matches the desired configuration.
Modular switching network node for a communications network
A modular switching network node for a communications network, i.e., an industrial communications network, where the modular switching network node comprises a switching network node base unit and at least one port module, the at least one port module comprises at least one connection interface for coupling to the communications network, and where the modular switching network node is configured to forward communication data over one of the connection interfaces of the modular switching network node to at least one additional connection interface of the modular switching network node. The switching network node base unit is configured such that at least one of the port modules is swappable for a functional module to expand the functionality of the switching network node.

The field device configuration can be changed by interconnecting different pins in the pin set. Multiple pin selectors are provided with different arrangements of connectors for interconnecting the pins.
