MONITORING AND CONTROLLING APPARATUS
A monitoring and controlling apparatus includes a functional cabinet, functional units, and a control cabinet. The functional cabinet includes a plurality of frames and a door at an opening of at least a part of the frames, each frame having a predetermined accommodation size. Each functional unit is detachably accommodated in respective frame and including a circuit and a component for a function of the functional unit. The control cabinet is disposed next to the functional cabinet, and configured to monitor and control the functional units.
Method of Digital Labeling Control System Terminals That Enables Guided Wiring
Tools and techniques are described to create a controller wiring board. A user, using a user interface associated with a controller, can determine which devices will be attached to a controller. The features of the devices may be already known by the controller. The controller can change wiring terminal types depending on the requirements of the devices wired to the controllers. In some embodiments, a device is wired to a module associated with the controller. The controller can signal to the module to modify its wiring terminal to match the needs of the device to be wired to that location.
HOUSING USED IN MONITOR OF INDUSTRIAL COMPUTER, MONITOR USED IN INDUSTRIAL COMPUTER, AND INDUSTRIAL COMPUTER
A housing for a monitor of an industrial computer is installed in/on a plate and includes a basic section, a frame section, an engagement element, a spring element, a guide element and a fixing element. The frame section is attached on the plate. The engagement element optionally moves from an unlocked position where the engagement element is detached from engagement with the plate to a locked position where the engagement element is engaged with the plate in a shape fitting manner. The spring element pretensions the engagement element in a direction toward the locked position. The engagement element is linearly guided along the guide element. The fixing element fixes the engagement element at the unlocked position or the locked position, and is releasable, so that the engagement element automatically moves from the unlocked position to the locked position by means of the spring element.
LOW FORCE LIQUID METAL INTERCONNECT SOLUTIONS
Embodiments disclosed herein include an electronic package. In an embodiment, the electronic package comprises a package substrate having a first surface and a second surface opposite from the first surface, and a die on the first surface of the package substrate. In an embodiment, the electronic package further comprises a socket interface on the second surface of the package substrate. In an embodiment, the socket interface comprises a first layer, wherein the first layer comprises a plurality of wells, a liquid metal within the plurality of wells, and a second layer over the plurality of wells.
METHOD FOR MODIFYING A CONTROL SOFTWARE OF AN AUTOMATION SYSTEM
A method for modifying control software of an automation system having a controller and a plurality of subscribers, where the subscribers are connected to the controller via a data bus and communicate via a data exchange, at least one subscriber is a software subscriber for modifying control software of the controller, and the software subscriber comprises a memory unit on which at least one modification instruction for modifying the control software is stored. The controller sends an individual query message to the software subscriber for querying the modification instruction, the software subscriber sends a response to the controller providing the modification instruction, and the controller verifies whether the modification instruction is compatible with the control software, modifying the control software according if the modification instruction is compatible with the control software, and discarding the modification instruction if not compatible with the control software.
Method and apparatus for generalized control of devices
Tools and techniques are described to attach a device to a controller, whereby the controller analyzes the device inputs, looks up information about the device in a database, and then determines which inputs on the device match the defined device inputs. It then may translate information received from the device into an intermediate language. It may also use the information received from the device, the location of the device, and information about the device to create a digital twin of the device.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR SECURING A USER INTERFACE PANEL OF A MULTI-FUNCTION DEVICE
The present disclosure discloses a method and a system for securing a user interface (UI) panel of a multi-function device. The method includes activating a retraction assembly, based on one or more retraction triggering conditions. Once the retraction assembly is activated, multiple components of the retraction assembly start functioning. At first, the UI panel is moved to a first position. Next, the UI panel is moved from the first position to a second position. Then, the UI panel in the second position is retracted into the multi-function device to secure the UI panel inside the multi-function device. This way, the UI panel is secured inside the multi-function device. Later, the retracted UI panel may be moved out of the multi-function device. To move the UI panel outside the multi-function device, the retraction assembly is activated again based on the one or more protraction triggering conditions.
Controller modules
A module is described which is slidably attachable to a controller. Resource wires are connected to the module through resource connectors, The module has a circuit board that can perform actions. The module can modify the function of its resource connectors. These modifications may be to meet the requirements of resources that are to be connected to the module. The module may be able to monitor voltage, current, or power, or check for faults on the wire. The results of such monitoring may be displayed on a screen associated with the controller.
