PNEUMATIC TIRE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING PNEUMATIC TIRE

Provided is a self-sealing tire that is excellent in the effect of reducing adhesion of foreign materials to the sealant layer, sealing performance, and road noise-reducing properties while maintaining the balance between them. The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire, including: a sealant layer located radially inside an innerliner; and a sound-absorbing layer located radially inside the sealant layer, the sound-absorbing layer being formed by applying a porous sound-absorbing material to the inner periphery of the sealant layer.

PNEUMATIC TIRE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING PNEUMATIC TIRE

Provided is a pneumatic tire including: a sealant layer located radially inside an innerliner; and a sound-absorbing layer located radially inside the sealant layer, the sealant layer being formed of a generally string-shaped sealant provided continuously and spirally along the inner periphery of the tire, the sound-absorbing layer being attached with the sealant.

The present disclosure describes a self-repairing article comprising an inflatable component comprising one or more material layers wherein at least one material layer comprises an elastomer. It also describes a self-repairing article comprising a sealed flexible package disposed within or between material layers of the inflatable component, and a repair composition disposed in the sealed flexible package, wherein the sealed flexible package comprises a metal foil and is configured to release the repair composition upon puncture of the inflatable component.

PNEUMATIC VEHICLE TIRE

A pneumatic vehicle tire is provided. The tire includes a thread, an inner surface lying opposite the thread, a self-sealing sealant and a sound-absorbing open-cell foam ring arranged inside the pneumatic vehicle tire. The foam ring is adhesively attached to the inner surface and adheres to the self-sealing sealant which is applied before the sound-absorbing open-cell foam ring is attached to the inner surface. The self-sealing sealant has, at least immediately after being applied, a tackiness required for an adhesive attachment of the sound-absorbing open-cell foam ring. A closed-cell material ring is arranged between the sound-absorbing foam ring and the self-sealing sealant to prevent a diffusion of the sealant into the open-cell foam ring. The closed-cell material ring effects an airtight condition.

Vehicle pneumatic tyre comprising sealant layer having radially inward facing surface and luminescent agent atop surface

A pneumatic vehicle tire which includes a sealant layer at least on the inner surface opposite the tread. The sealant layer has a radially inward-facing surface running in the axial direction substantially parallel to the belt package. Also provided is a process for detecting a pneumatic vehicle tire with a sealant layer and to a process for recycling a pneumatic vehicle tire with sealant. The sealant layer has at least one luminescent agent on its radially inward-facing surface. The tire is detected via the luminescent agent.
