A bag dispensing apparatus is described that comprises a container that includes a box and a series of garbage bags. The box includes a top and the top defines an opening. The last bag of the series of garbage bags connects a cut in a plate positioned in the container. When the last bag is pulled from a trash can the last bag pulls the container and plate from the trash can. The container and plate can then be separated from the last bag and recycled.

A transfer and dispensing apparatus is disclosed for the conveying and separation of packaging material, cushions or pillows when needed by the operator. When a packer working over a conveyor receives a box that requires void fill, an operating switch such as a foot pedal is depressed to dispense pillows from the apparatus and into the box in a connected strip. When the operating switch is released, the apparatus stops dispensing pillows, separates the continuous strip of pillows along a transverse perforation in the strip, and ejects the end of the separated segment. The packer can then complete packing the box by placing the severed end of the pillows into the box, advance to the next box, and repeat the process. The transfer and dispensing apparatus may be positioned in any convenient location including adjacent to, above or attached to the inflation device.

A dispenser is configured for use with a chain of rupturably connected elastic bands, each of the bands having an aperture. The dispenser includes a fixed convex surface and a stop element. The chain of bands is configured to be drawn over the fixed convex surface in a direction from a first side to a second side of the surface. The stop element is positioned proximate the second side of the surface and is configured for insertion into the aperture of one of the elastic bands. In another aspect, an assembly is configured for use with a chain of rupturably connected elastic bands. The chain is provided on a spool, and each of the bands has an aperture therethrough. The assembly includes a dispenser and a shaft configured to support the spool. A method is described for dispensing elastic bands from a chain of rupturably connected elastic bands.

Sheet product dispensers and methods are provided. A sheet product dispenser includes a loading station for sheet material, a sheet feeding mechanism configured to feed the sheet material, a presentation station for presenting one or more discrete sheet products to an end user, a sensor downstream of the feeding mechanism and upstream of the presentation station configured to detect a presence of the discrete sheet products, and a controller configured to facilitate dispensing of the one or more discrete sheet products in response to a signal, and to determine and store data associated with the dispensing of the sheet products.

Sheet product dispensers and methods are provided. Apparatus and methods for mechanically cleaving a bonded wafer structure are disclosed. The apparatus and methods involve clamps that grip the bonded wafer structure and are actuated to cause the bonded structure to cleave.

A drywall or similar planar material cutting tool is provided that aids in the achieving of clean and square cuts with minimal debris and/or breakage to the drywall material edge. The apparatus defines a generally J-shaped engagement channel, or combinations of J-shaped channels, to engage the edge of a drywall sheet, and a centrally affixed handle located perpendicular to the bottom surface of the J-channel and generally in a parallel plane to the drywall sheet being cut. The unique configuration allows pressure applied to the handle to be uniformly transferred to the J-channel which, in turn, applies a uniformly distributed shear force. The applied force is perpendicular to the plane of the drywall sheet and, at all times, parallel to the pre-applied score mark thereby resulting in a clean snap break of the board with an improved edge quality.
