Bungee bead apparatus
A bungee bead apparatus includes a bead and elastic cord with first and second ends fixedly secured in proximity to, or in contact with, each other at one end of the bead to form a loop. A circumferential recess formed between first and second sides of the bead extends from the bead's first end to its second end, having a cross-sectional height and width to receive the loop of the elastic cord therethrough. The orifice extends at an acute angle, positioned midway between the bead's first and second sides, and begins at the bead's first end in proximity to the first side, and transects the circumferential recess at its second end. The circumferential recess is annular with a depth of about one-half the diameter of the cylindrical elastic cord to receive only a portion therein. The recess and orifice permit two (or more) such apparatus to be linked together.
Interlocking Zipper Pull Tabs and Fastening System
A fastening system for a zipper is disclosed which includes locking or interlocking first and second zipper pull tabs. A first zipper pull tab comprises a first base, a hook extending from the first base, and a moveable gate coupled to the first base. A second zipper pull tab comprises a second base, a cover coupled to the second base, and a post extending between the second base and the cover. For interlocking, the moveable gate and hook are further coupled around the post to provide the interlocking configuration of the first and second zipper pull tabs. The first zipper pull tab may be utilized separately from the second zipper pull tab, such as to lock to a coupling ring or another component of a carrying bag.
Slider for slide fastener
A slider may include a slider body, a pull-tab attachment portion provided at the slider body, and a resin-made pull tab attached to the pull-tab attachment portion. The pull tab may include an axial portion and a pair of bars extending from respective ends of the axial portion. The pull-tab attachment portion may include a pair of claws that axially support the axial portion of the pull tab. Each claw may be held by and between the respective paired bars while the pull tab pivots. A width of a terminal end of each claw in an axial direction of the axial portion may be less than a width of a base end of each claw in the axial direction.
