Truck front end attachment mount
An attachment mount for the front end of a truck, which can fit trucks with full-width or tapering chassis. The attachment mount may include a front member for supporting a front-end truck attachment, and a distribution member. The distribution member may be attached to the vehicle chassis and to the front member, so that the attachment mount spreads stresses originating from downwardly-directed forces exerted on the front member by the attachment, to the front portion of the vehicle chassis.
Blow mold unit, blow molding machine and blow mold unit fixing method
A blow mold unit in which, when clamping first and second blow cavity split molds which are fixed to first and second fixing plates and bottom molds which are fixed to a bottom mold fixing plate, pressure receiving members fixed to the first and second fixing plates are brought into engagement with the bottom plate fixing plate. Guide plates are fixed to the bottom mold fixing plate, and guided members capable of being brought into abutment with the guide plates are supported by first and second pressure receiving plates. The bottom mold fixing plate includes a first connecting portion to be connected to a bottom mold opening/closing unit and a second connecting portion to be connected to a moving and biasing member.
SPLINE ALIGNMENT
A gas turbine shaft assembly comprises first and second axially mating shafts. The first shaft has a circumferential array of splines configured to mesh with a corresponding circumferential array of splines on the second shaft. The first shaft defines at least one axially extending slot aligned with one of the splines on the first shaft. The second shaft has at least one radial projection aligned with one of the splines on the second shaft. The engagement of the radial projection with the slot provides angular correspondence between the splines of the first and the second shafts prior to axial engagement of the splines.
Vision-based passive alignment of an optical fiber subassembly to an optoelectronic device
A vision-based passive alignment approach to optically couple input/output of optical fibers in optical alignment to optoelectronic components that are supported on a substrate. An optical bench supporting an optical fiber is physically and optically coupled to an optoelectronic device mounted on a submount via an optically transparent alignment block. The transparent alignment block having a first set of optical fiducials for aligning optical fiducials defined on the optical bench with the alignment block, and a second set of optical fiducials for aligning the alignment block with optical fiducials defined on the submount.
DIALYSIS SYSTEM AND METHODS
Dialysis systems and methods are described which can include a number of features. The dialysis systems described can be to provide dialysis therapy to a patient in the comfort of their own home. The dialysis system can be configured to prepare purified water from a tap water source in real-time that is used for creating a dialysate solution. The dialysis systems described also include features that make it easy for a patient to self-administer therapy. For example, the dialysis systems include disposable cartridge and patient tubing sets that are easily installed on the dialysis system and automatically align the tubing set, sensors, venous drip chamber, and other features with the corresponding components on the dialysis system. Methods of use are also provided, including automated priming sequences, blood return sequences, and dynamic balancing methods for controlling a rate of fluid transfer during different types of dialysis, including hemodialysis, ultrafiltration, and hemodiafiltration.
JOINING MEANS
In the invention, a joining means having a ram tool, a countertool and a holder with an opening to accommodate the ram tool or the countertool, is described. The two tools are arranged coaxial with each other at different ends of a C-bracket. The holder comprises at least one plane contact surface arranged on the outer surface of the holder, resting in contact with at least one plane face of the corresponding end of the C-bracket and detachably fastened thereto. Between the contact surface and the face, at least one interlay is arranged, determining the information and/or the distance of the contact surface from the face.
Method of manufacturing an exhaust gas carrying device and tool therefor
A method of manufacturing an exhaust gas carrying device, in particular an exhaust gas purification device, and a tool provided therefor include segment-like jaws that are used to deforma an outer housing. The jaws have indentations or projections adjacent to each other, and which are complementary to form a continuously surrounding indentation/projection. The reshaped outer housing is provided with one or more surrounding projections or indentations by the deformation.
Guidewire insertion tool
A guidewire insertion tool includes a sidewall defining a passageway having a first open end and a second open end and a neck therebetween. The passageway tapers from the first and second open ends to the neck. The sidewall has a slit extending longitudinally along the sidewall. A tab is adjacent one of the first or second open ends for removing the tool from a guidewire through the slit.
Vehicle radar cover assembly and method
A vehicle radar cover assembly and method includes a radar bracket for securing a radar unit to the vehicle, a radar cover for inhibiting undesirable matter from interfering with the radar unit, and at least one fastener securing both the radar bracket and the radar cover to the vehicle. The radar bracket includes at least one bracket mounting aperture. The radar cover includes at least one cover mounting aperture. The at least one fastener is received through aligned ones of the at least one bracket mounting aperture and the at least cover mounting aperture.
