Adjustable assembly for bicycles

An adjustable assembly for a bicycle includes a first support having an interior surface and a second support slidably positioned within at least a portion of the first support. One of the first support and the second support is adapted to attach to a first bicycle portion, and the other of the first support and the second support is adapted to attach to a second bicycle portion. Further, the second support comprises an expansion portion configured to be moved between an expanded position and a retracted position. The expansion portion is configured to engage the interior surface of the first support when the expansion portion is in an expanded position. In addition, the first support is configured to be selectively moved relative to the second support when the expansion portion is permitted to assume a retracted position.

Hot stick adapter, combination, and method

An adapter for a dielectric hot stick, the hot stick having a hook, the hook being movable along an axis of travel that includes a retracted position where the hook is within an axial passage in the hot stick, and an extended position where the hook is extended past a work end of the hot stick, the adapter comprising: a frame with a hot stick seat shaped to be mounted on the work end of the hot stick, the frame defining a lever passage positioned to at least partially align with the axial passage in use; and a lever assembly pivotally connected to the frame, the lever assembly having a first end with a connector for the hook and being at least partially within the lever passage, and the lever assembly having a second end defining or connected to a tool part to move the tool part relative to the frame to carry out a function when the hook moves along the axis of travel.

A locking device includes an operating lever, a base and a repulsion generating member, wherein the operating lever has a releasing position and a locking position relative to the base, and the repulsion generating member is arranged between the base and the operating lever and generates a repulsion force for application to the operating lever during movement from the releasing position to the locking position. When the operating lever does not completely reach the locking position due to abnormal operation, the repulsion generating member will cause the operating lever to return to the releasing position thereby provide an indication. The locking device can thus provide an indication when the locking operation does not reach the correct position, thereby avoiding user confusion and abnormal operation.

Sequencing Locking Mechanism for Telescoping Structures

A passive locking mechanism for a telescoping structure includes a stud fixed to a first panel section, a lower pawl coupled to a second panel section, an upper pawl coupled to the second panel section operable to engage the lower pawl, and a lock wedge coupled to a third panel section. The lock wedge is operable to engage the upper and lower pawls. In a retracted position of the telescoping structure, the lower pawl is engaged with the lock wedge, such that the second panel section is locked in place relative to the third panel section, and the first panel section is free to move relative to the second panel section.
