CUTTING APPARATUS INCLUDING A VISUAL TENSION INDICATOR MECHANISM
A cutting apparatus and the method of operating same is provided. The apparatus includes a feed tower assembly configured to be attached to an object and a frame base plate movably attached thereto. The frame base plate has a pivotable arm assembly and an arm wheel thereon which accept a cutting member. A visual tension indicator is operably connected to the frame base plate and the arm assembly and configured to indicate an amount of tension applied to the cutting member.
Cutting apparatus including a liquid spray system
A cutting apparatus and the method of operating same is provided. The apparatus includes a feed tower assembly configured to be attached to an object and a frame assembly movably attached thereto. The frame assembly has arm assemblies thereon which accept a cutting member. A liquid spray system is provided for cooling components of the cutting apparatus.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CUTTING A PLATE OR PANEL OF POROUS CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL
A device for cutting a plate or panel of porous construction material includes a movement structure that moves the plate or panel and includes at least one conveyor, and which is able to move in a direction (X). The device also includes a wire to cut the plate or panel and a structure for passing the wire in a direction (Y) perpendicular to the direction (X) of travel of the plate or panel. The device for cutting allows a cut to be made that greatly limits the waste and dust generated.
Cutting apparatus including a wire cutting member
A cutting apparatus and the method of operating same is provided. The apparatus includes a feed tower assembly configured to be attached to an object and a frame assembly movably attached thereto. The frame assembly has arm assemblies thereon which accept a cutting member. At least one arm assembly can be pivoted relative to the other arm assembly and relative to the feed tower assembly. One arm assembly can further be moved relative to the other arm assembly and relative to the feed tower assembly in a vertical direction.
Method and Apparatus for Display Screen Shield Replacement
A method and apparatus for replacement of damages display shield (typically glass) covering a display screen on a device, typically a mobile phone. Mobile phones have an electronic display protected by a glass shield. Between the glass and the display is often a plastic polarizing or other intermediary sheet. Removal of a damage glass can be accomplished by cutting thru the polarizer with a moving wire or blade. This separates the glass from the sensitive display and allows replacement of the glass without damaging the more expensive display.
Wire guide roll for wire saw and method
A wire guide roll for use in wire saws for simultaneously slicing a multiplicity of wafers from a cylindrical workpiece is provided with a coating having a thickness of at least 2 mm and at most 7.5 mm of a material which has a Shore A hardness of at least 60 and at most 99, and which contains a multiplicity of grooves through which the sawing wire is guided, the grooves each having a curved groove base with a radius of curvature which is 0.25-1.6 times the sawing wire diameter, and an aperture angle of 60-130. A multiplicity of wafers are simultaneously sliced from a cylindrical workpiece by a wire saw using such wire guide rolls.
Windshield removal assist device
A pane removal tool is disclosed for cutting through an adhesive bead with a wire. The tool comprises a suction cup, and a vacuum pump in air communication with the inside of the suction cup, and connected to the suction cup. The tool also includes a housing with a cam rotatably mounted therein for periodically operating the vacuum pump, the housing being mounted on the vacuum pump. The tool also includes a spool coaxial with and rotatable connected to the cam, and a stem connected to one of the cam and the spool, the stem being adapted to be engaged by a device to rotate the stem and the cam.
