    Abstract

The present invention relates to a handgrip mechanism that can be used in every rifle type and can be adjusted in accordance with the user's comfort. The present invention particularly relates to a design developed for the handgrip, that may be customized by making adjustments on the used rifle for each hand and arm length so as to use in rifles such as bullpup, air rifle, and firearms.

    Claims

    1. An adjustable handgrip mechanism, comprising: at least two gears, that are located on a body; and at least one slot, that is opened on a handgrip, wherein the slots correspond to the gears.

    2. The adjustable handgrip mechanism of claim 1, further comprising at least one joint bolt, that is positioned in the inner surface of the handgrip.

    3. The adjustable handgrip mechanism of claim 1, further comprising at least one linkage nut corresponding to the joint bolt, wherein the linkage nut has at least two holes.

    4. The adjustable handgrip mechanism of claim 1, further comprising at least one washer which ensures that the joint bolt is retained inside the handgrip.

    5. The adjustable handgrip mechanism of claim 1, further comprising at least one lower lid that is positioned on the lower portion of the handgrip.

    6. The adjustable handgrip mechanism of claim 5, wherein the lower lid further comprises at least one fitting screw.

    Description

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0016] The inventive adjustable hand grip for rifles must be evaluated in consideration of the figures provided herein to ensure a better understanding of the novelties which are made in favor of achieving the objects stated above.

[0017] FIG. 1 illustrates the general view of a rifle that comprises the inventive adjustable handgrip structure.

[0018] FIG. 2 illustrates the view of the internal components of the inventive adjustable hand grip.

[0019] FIG. 3 illustrates the sectional view of the gear structure of the inventive adjustable handgrip when it's positioned close to the trigger.

[0020] FIG. 4 illustrates the sectional view of the gear structure of the inventive adjustable handgrip when it's positioned distantly from the trigger.

[0021] FIG. 5 illustrates the sectional view of the bolt structure of the inventive adjustable handgrip when it's positioned close to the trigger.

[0022] FIG. 6 illustrates the sectional view of the bolt structure of the inventive adjustable handgrip when it's positioned distantly from the trigger.

[0023] The figures are provided with reference numbers in order to provide a better understanding of the inventive adjustable handgrip, wherein; [0024] 1. Body [0025] 2. Gear [0026] 3. Handgrip [0027] 4. Slot [0028] 5. Washer [0029] 6. Joint Bolt [0030] 7. Lower Lid [0031] 8. Fitting Screw [0032] 9. Linkage Nut

[0033] FIG. 1 illustrates the general view of an example rifle that comprises the inventive adjustable handgrip structure. The adjustable handgrip mechanism that can be applied to firearms, air-operated and bullpup rifles consisting of a body (1), gear (2), handgrip (3), slot (4), washer (5), joint bolt (6), lower lid (7) and linkage nut (8) components.

[0034] FIG. 2 illustrates the view of the internal components of the inventive adjustable handgrip in detail. While the handgrip (3) is positioned on the body (1), gears (2), which are created on the body (1), are seated inside the slots (4) that are opened on handgrip (3). Joint bolt (6) is inserted into the inner portion of the handgrip (3) and is ensured to hold on to the handgrip (3) by means of a washer (5). Concurrently, the joint bolt (6) is connected with a linkage nut (9) having at least two holes thereon. A lower lid (7) is used so as to ensure that the handgrip (3) is closed from its lower portion. It is ensured that the lower lid (7) can be fixed by means of a fitting screw (8).

[0035] When the user wants to change the position of the handgrip (3) depending on his/her comfort of use, lower lid (7) is removed by opening the fitting screw (8). It is preferred that the handgrip (3) to be closer to the trigger if the user's hand and arm length are short. In the present case, lower lid (7) is opened by removing the fitting screw (8), and the handgrip (3) can be closely placed again on the trigger by removing it from where it is inserted by means of pulling it down. Gears (2) are seated into slots (4) such that they are flushed to the right side in order to ensure that the trigger is positioned close to the handgrip (3) (FIG. 3). Also, joint bolt (6) is connected with the linkage nut (9) by screwing it through its hole which is closer to the trigger (FIG. 5). The handgrip (3) that draws closer to the trigger is fixed with a fitting screw (8) by installing the lower lid (7).

[0036] It is preferred that the handgrip (3) is distant to the trigger if the user's hand and arm length are long. Accordingly, lower lid (7) is opened by removing the fitting screw (8), and the handgrip (3) can be distantly placed again on the trigger by removing it from where it places through pulling it down. Gears (2) are seated into slots (4) such that they are flushed to the left side in order to ensure that the trigger is positioned distantly to the handgrip (3) (FIG. 4). Also, joint bolt (6) is connected with the linkage nut (9) by screwing it through its hole which is distant to the trigger (FIG. 6). The handgrip (3) that draws distanced to trigger is fixed with a fitting screw (8) by installing the lower lid (7).
